"Y-yeah.. I'm s-sorry, Mary.." He said sadly, as he set his mug back down.

I could tell something was up.. but I didn't know what. I looked down, but soon heard him sniffle. I looked back over to see him with his head in his hands. It really hurt me seeing him upset. I've never seen him like this before.

"Anti.. what's wrong?? Please, tell me.." I said, putting my mug on the table next to me. I darted my attention back to Anti, as he was still crying. I gently grabbed his head, and turned it to where he was looking at me.

I could see the tears streaming down his face, as he looked at me with his bright blue eyes.

"Please tell me what's wrong.. It's killing me seeing you like this, Anti." I said, wiping his tears with my sweater sleeves.

"W-why are you being so n-nice to me, M-mary..? He asked, sniffling.

Gently letting go of him , I put my hands in my lap.

"I'm a d-demon.. I-I'm creepy.. I showed up in the m-middle of your living room, s-scaring the hell out you.. I creeped up b-behind you in the d-dark.. Y-yet, you're still s-s nice to m-me. Slept and c-cuddled with me too, for d-devil's sake.." He said, as tears still streamed down his face.

"Because you're sweet, Anti. You're not creepy to me at all.. you're genuinely adorable, actually. And you're a big ol' cuddly teddy bear!" I said, as he slightly stopped sniffling. "And above all, you saved my life, Anti." I said, pulling him towards me.
He put his head on my shoulder as he still lightly cried.

"And I love you, Anti.." I said, as I felt him tense up. "I don't care that I just met you yesterday.. you helped me when I got beaten up, and you saved me from doing something I'd regret so much." I said, rubbing his back as he sniffled. "You've helped and cared for me more than anyone else has in my entire life." I said, tearing up again.

I then felt his arms gently wrap around me, as he hugged me and clinged to the back of my sweater.

"I-I don't deserve you, M-mary.." He said, squeezing me, and burying his head into my neck.
