Chapter 8: Confusion?

General Hux runs into the hallway where we are standing. Still hugging.

"Ren!" He says, out of breath, "They fled!"

"On my command." He says letting go of me and looking at Hux.

"What do you mean?"

"They retreated because of us." He says looking at me.

"What did you do?"

I look at Hux and smile, "We showed Leia her life before the Resistance, when they were younger."

"That's one way to put it." Kylo says chuckling.

"Did you just laugh, Ren?" Hux asks the supreme leader.

"That's none of your concern, best you get back to work." Kylo says, using the Force to take his mask and he clips it on.

"Yes." General Hux turn around to leave but is stopped by Kylo.

"Did those robes come in?"

"Yes, they are waiting outside your quarters."

"Good, let us go (Y/n)."

Kylo grabs my arm and we walk the opposite way, towards Kylo's quarters.

Once we reach his quarters, there was no box or anything waiting for us, did Hux lie?

"Hux..." Kylo mutters, "Stay here."

I listen and stay waiting outside the quarters.

After a few minutes, Ben comes back with a box is his arms, "Stupid ass employee put them on the opposite side of the ship thinking it was my quarters, those ducking interns."

"Clam down, Ben." I say opening the door to his quarters.

"Okay, I'm sorry about that..." he says walking in and taking off his mask, "I guess it was just annoying."

"I understand." I say smiling, "But it doesn't mean that you go swearing around everywhere."

"I know..." He sighs looking at me, "I still don't understand why Snoke ordered us to be married."

"Why don't you cancel it then?" I ask sitting down on the couch.

"I don't want to, my mother and father used to tell me stories about marriage and I thought I would want to get married oneday."

"That's... really nice..." I say smiling.

"What about you?"

"My parents..?"

"Yes, do they ever talk about anything like that?"

"I don't know who my parents are." I say looking down, "I don't remember them, I was abandoned at a young age. I was a salve."

"Oh... I'm sorry..."

"It's okay." I say smiling at him.

"How did you get out of the slavery?"

"Uh, that wasn't my proudest moment..."

"Why?"

"I killed my master..."

"What?"

I undo the back of my robes and show Kylo the scars on my back, "My Master used to beat me, torture me if I did anything wrong." I feel the leather from his gloves trace around the scars. "So, one day, I killed him."

"I'm sorry..." he says quietly, I do my robes up again and I see he is upset. "I didn't mean to..."

"No, it's fine. But that's when the Resistance found me. They found out I was Force sensitive and sent me to Master Luke after the Jedi Temple burnt down." I smile, "He trained me for two years, and then, I got captured by you."

"Is that a good thing? To be captured by me?"

"We'll have to wait for our marriage to confirm or deny that."

It is still the afternoon and there's nothing to do, Kylo has already shown me around the place and what not.

"Are you bored?" He asks me, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I am bored, what is there to do on the Finalizer anyways?" I ask him looking at him.

"Nothing ready, should we make more fun?" He asks standing up.

"Yes, I think the employees need something fun." I say watching him walk into the kitchen.

"Like what?"

"Games, activities, maybe a library?"

"So fun and games?" He questions turning around and facing me.

"Yes!" I exclaim standing up and smiling.

"But everyone should be working, not playing games."

"But what about their free time?"

"Sleep, washing their clothes, eating, drinking." He says, "We have alcohol here."

"Yes, but alcohol is not fun." I say looking at him, "Maybe if you don't want too much fun, you can make a library."

"I have a library."

"What?"

"I showed you, it's here." He points to a door in the hallway of his quarters, "Remember?"

"Ah, yes..." I sigh.

"What's wrong now?"

"Like I said Ben, I'm bored." I slump back down on the couch and sigh.

"What do you want to do? Maybe you should go to sleep, you didn't have a good one last night, right?"

"Good point..." I say standing up and making my way to the bedroom.

"Goodnight..."

"Goodnight, Ben..."
