Chapter 2: Little Duel

I wake up in the morning and I walk out of the bedroom, after last night, I don't know how to feel about Kylo. I smell something delicious coming from the kitchen. I see Kylo cooking something. He's not wearing his mask.

"Don't look." He says to me, "Get my mask."

"Why?" I ask him, playing around.

"You're brave, aren't you."

"Why do you want your mask?"

"Because I don't like people seeing me without it."

"Oh, if we are to be married as Snoke said, I'll have to see your face eventually." I say smiling.

"Stop smiling, I can sense it." He sighs, "Just get my mask!"

I don't push him anymore and I go to the coffee table to grab his mask.

"Wait." He says right before I take the helmet. "Come here."

"But your mask." I say picking it up.

"Later, we're eating and we're eating now." He says plating whatever he was making.

I listen to him and I leave the mask on the coffee table. I walk over to the dinner table and I sit down.
I look at the back of his head, dark brown curls raining from his head. I watch as he picks up the plates using the Force. I watch as they land of the table, one right in front of me.
He's not going to sit?

"I'll be there soon..." he sighs I can feel him thinking, "Forget it."

He turns around and and I watch him walk over to the table, he looks beautiful, I didn't expect this.

"Thanks... that makes me feel a bit better." He says sitting down.

"Stop listening to my thoughts!" I exclaims picking up my knife and fork.

"I can't help it!" He exclaims slamming his fist on the table, "I'm sorry, it just, you're so loud that it overtakes my thoughts."

"Then you should t have brought me here." I say quietly.

"Shut up and eat."

Kylo finishes his meal and I'm still eating. "Hurry up, I'm taking you around the Starkiller Base today." He says as I finish my food, "Don't think this is normal. You are not allowed to leave this room without me."

He stands up and I do too, he takes his mask and puts it on. We walk to the door. I look at his belt and see my lightsaber hanging from it.

"You want it don't you?" He says through his synthesised voice.

"Want what?" I ask quietly, he knows I want my lightsaber back.

"Your lightsaber." I hear something I click from his belt.

I look over and see he is holding my lightsaber in his right hand. My lightsaber has a beautiful silver hilt, I was looking through some archives and apparently the name of my lightsaber is "The Unstable Peacekeeper's Lightsaber" this was used in the Old Republic.

"You're very loud." He says, "I don't need a history lesson."

"Sorry, Kylo." I say looking at my lightsaber. He starts throwing it and catching it.

"Please, be careful with it..."

"What's was that?" I says, I can almost hear his smirk.

"Be careful with it." I say louder.

He looks at me and puts my lightsaber back on his belt, "Peacekeeper? Huh?"

"I didn't choose the name." I say rolling my eyes.

Suddenly a General Hux appears, "Good morning Ren." He says smiling.

"Hux." Kylo says bluntly.

"Good morning (Y/n)." He says smiling at me, "How was your first night?"

"As good as it could be..." I say rolling my eyes.

"Where are you staying?"

"She's staying in my quarters." Kylo says as he starts to walk.

"Wait!" I say running up to him.

We turn left and are at the bridge. All of the workers stand up and bow has Kylo and I walk past.

"This is the Bridge, the Main Control Centre of the StarKiller." Kylo says as he walk to the large window. Space is really beautiful.

"I know, I think space is beautiful too." He says after reading my thoughts.

"I'm fine with you reading those thoughts." I say smiling, "Just not anything private."

"Why don't you understand?!" He raises his voice and turns to me, "I cant control it!"

"Why not?"

"Because I can't!"

"Why are we arguing?" General Hux says from behind us. Gosh, his ginger head has already started to ignore me and I've only known him for a day!

"I know, I agree (Y/n)." Kylo says, "Nothing Hux, come (Y/n), I'll show you the cantina."

We starts to walk off and I follow him, after walking for one or two minutes we reach a room where a lot of the employees are sitting and eating. A sea of different uniforms fill the room. Engineers, Admirals, Radar Technicians and Interns.

They all stand and how when they see Kylo enter. I heard voices murmur when they sit down, "Who's that girl?"

"Is she a knew employee?"

"Why is she with the Commander?"

"Enough!" Kylo yells at the employees, "She is my going to be wife. A force user."

He throws my lightsaber at me and I feel his smile, "Come at me."

I look at him, shock lacing my face, I hold my lightsaber in my right hand, it's comforting to finally hold it again.

"Come on." He says igniting his lightsaber, "What are you waiting for?"

I look to Kylo, the man to kidnaps me and the man who wants to kill my friends, my family...

I ignite my lightsaber and the magenta blade comes out, I feel the shock from all of the employees, the crackling sound of both mine and Kylo's lightsaber fills the room.

Suddenly, Kylo lunges at me and I block his attack, I push him off my lightsaber and I strike at him. He blocks and a ferocious fight starts.
He gets too close for comfort and I use the Force to push him back. I don't think he liked that at all. He gets up and jumps at me. I block his attack and push him off me again.

I feel Someone enter the room. General Hux... I know Kylo knows it too.

"What is happening here?" General Hux says while we are fighting.

Of course we ignore him. Kylo and I are blocking hits back and forth, of course I take the defensive instead of the offensive.
There is a prefect opportunity and I kick Kylo to the floor and he drops his lightsaber. I take it with the Force and I point my lightsaber at him.

"You win." He says, I move away and deactivate my lightsaber. He stands up and I pass him his lightsaber. He hums and I give him my lightsaber, "What are you doing?" He asks taking my lightsaber from me.

"I thought you would like it back."

"It's yours." He says handing it to me.

"But I'm a prisoner." I say looking at my lightsaber in his hands.

"Yes, but I trust you." He pushes the lightsaber forward and I take it.

I clip it onto my belt and smile at Kylo. Something is stirring in my stomach and I don't know what it is or what it means...
