Once Rasanna, Alyla, the Mandalorian, and the others returned to the Beatha village, the villagers greeted them with smiles. Morna made her way to Rasanna and the others as Attie and Isolde trailed behind her. The child lied in Moana's arms. He cooed as soon as he saw the Mandalorian and Rasanna. Rasanna smiled as she greeted the child. "Hello there, little one."
The child stretched out his arms, reaching for Rasanna. Morna then handed the child over to her. Once Rasanna carried him in his arms, he cooed.
"What happened?" Morna asked.
"Rasanna is leaving us." Alyla retorted, sounding bitter.
"Now Alyla, you know she's doing this for us." Aodhan mentioned, defending Rasanna's actions.
Alyla remained silent at Aodhan's words, knowing deep down that he was right. However she refused to make eye contact with Rasanna. Rasanna then handed the child over to the Mandalorian.
"I would like to grab some things from my home." She mentioned.
The Mandalorian gave her a nod. "Of course."
Without saying another word, Rasanna walked off to her home. Rasanna took one look at her home before going to gather her belongings like blankets and clothing, and food for the trip. As Rasanna grabbed her things, Alyla walked in. She hesitated for a few moments before speaking up. "Why didn't you tell me you were part Thyrsian?"
Rasanna turned around to face her. "Would you have remained my best friend?"
"Of course. What kind of question is that? You know you're like a sister to me, Ras. I don't care if you're part Thyrsian or even if you're a full blooded Thyrsian." Alyla commented.
"Thank you Alyla, I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. But I know you will do well as the Chieftain of Thyrsus." Rasanna mentioned.
Alyla's eyes widened. "What are you saying?"
"Alyla, I want you to become the Chieftain of Thyrsus. If anyone can do it, I know it's you." Rasanna explained.
Alyla shook her head. "I can't, I'm not prepared."
"Yes you can." Rasanna urged. "No one can truly be prepared for what happens to them. All they can do is adapt."
"Why are you doing this, Ras? You yourself said that Brunus can't be trusted. So why take his word now?" Alyla asked.
"Alyla, my destiny isn't to rule over some planet. I'm meant to help people, like my own. I'm a Jedi." Rasanna reminded her.
"The Jedi Order is finished, Rasanna. You were there when it happened." Alyla pointed out.
Rasanna shook her head. "That doesn't mean all the Jedi are dead. There's still a chance for the Jedi to begin again, a new start."
Alyla then seemed to finally understand. That is why she allowed the Mandalorian to stay, because of the child. He was Force-sensitive like Rasanna. But little did Alyla know that it was just more than that.
"The child, he's Force-sensitive, isn't he?" Alyla asked.
Rasanna nodded. "Yes, he is."
"And that's why you allowed the Mandalorian to stay then." Alyla commented.
"At first, it was for the child." Rasanna confessed. "I'm glad the Mandalorian is taking care of him. He's good with the kid."
A grin appeared on Alyla's face. "Right, he's also very kind with you."
Rasanna's cheeks turned red, but she tried to hide this. Rasanna tried not to think of the Mandalorian, but her mind couldn't help but wander and her heart fluttered. Rasanna mentally shook her head. Stop acting childish, Rasanna told herself. We're only friends, she said to herself.
