The Mandalorian and Rasanna returned to the ocean in the Southern Hemisphere by ship along with Aodhan and the Echani soldiers. The Razor Crest stood by the rocks of the shore right next to the bridge that lead to the Beatha village. They made their way across the bridge and to the village. When they reached the arch, Morna stood there along with the two Echani guards on duty. Behind Morna was the child, who was playing in the grass with Attie and Isolde. As soon as Morna saw Aodhan, she rushed over towards him, giving him a tight hug.
"Thank the stars you're all right!" Morna exclaimed as they pulled away from their hug.
"We're all fine, Morna." Aodhan assured her, giving her hands a gentle squeeze. "It's all thanks to Rasanna."
"It was nothing." Rasanna replied.
"It meant the galaxy to us, Rasanna. You've done everything to help us, while knowing that there would be a possibility that you would be cast out." Aodhan mentioned.
"That's what family does." Rasanna stated. "And like you all mentioned before, we're a family."
"You're more than welcomed to return to our village any time." Morna commented.
"Thank you, Morna. I shall return one day." Rasanna assured her.
"We should get going." The Mandalorian advised.
He didn't want to break up their conversation, knowing that it might be along while until Rasanna returns to Thyrsus. But he was anxious to know what was inside the Holocron. Rasanna nodded. "You're right."
With that, Rasanna and the Mandalorian made their way to the child, who was sitting on the grass. Attie and Isolde took one look at them, and they immediately knew that they were leaving with the child. The two of them groaned.
"Do you have to leave?" Attie asked.
"I'm afraid so, Attie." Rasanna replied.
"Goodbye little guy." Isolde said, giving the child a hug.
"We're gonna miss you." Attie added.
The child gave them a giggle and a wave. Rasanna smiled at the child. The child looked over at Rasanna, letting out a coo before raising his hands. Rasanna's smile widened as she gently lifted the child, putting him in her arms. Once they were in the cargo hold of the ship, the Mandalorian saw the blue Kyber crystal around the child's neck. This caught the Mandalorian's attention. He walked over towards the child before kneeling beside him.
"What's that you have?" He asked.
At his words, Rasanna turned around to see the Mandalorian inspecting the Kyber crystal around the child's neck. She made her way towards them. Once she approached them, she sat beside the child.
"I hope you don't mind. I gave it to the child." Rasanna informed him.
"What is it?" He inquired.
"It's a Kyber crystal. It's what's used to create a lightsaber, my weapon." Rasanna explained. "This Kyber crystal belonged to my Master, the one who taught all I know. That crystal's all I have left of her."
"Then you should keep it." He mentioned.
"No, it now belongs to the child. I intend to pass down to him all I know..." Rasanna trailed off.
She knew that the Mandalorian might be against it, which is why she stopped herself from continuing. The Mandalorian hesitated at her words. He remembered how the armorer told them of the Jedi being the Mandalorians' enemies. Should he allow her to train him as a Jedi, those that were his enemies?
