As soon as she left the apartment, Guardian 121 saw two demons at the end of the hallway. She quickly ran towards them, cutting the head off of one and grabbing the other by its neck. She rammed the demon through the window at the end of the hallway, and crashed its head into the ground bellow. The moment she hit the ground, she cut zombie that was next to her in half.

Then a large rock golem ran towards her. She ran out in the street cutting down more demons she encountered. Before she could kill all the demons around her, the golem punched her sending her flying into the APC that Jack was talking about. She bounced off of the heavy vehicle and with both hands gripping the sword, she stabbed the golem in the chest, cracking the stone covering its body. She stabbed again breaking its chest open and revealing the demon's heart. The golem swung its stone arm at guardian 121, but missed and had its head cracked in half by her sword. Guardian 121 proceeded to reach out for the golem's heart and drain it of all the energy in it. Her wings ignited and as she ascended in the air, a wave of fire passed over the street setting the surrounding demons on fire.

She landed on top of the armored vehicle, and climbed inside through the hatch on its roof. The first she saw was a dead body of a soldier, the dog tag on his neck said his name was Joseph Grekov. The only visible wound on him was the one bullet hole in his head. If the gun in his hand was anything to go by, he used his last bullet on himself. There was a time when guardian 121 wouldn't be able to understand why Joseph would rather kill himself than let the demons get to him, but with her experiences on Earth, she learned that there is a fate worse than death.

This was no time to mourn a dead soldier, she had to get back into action. In the back, she found a large crate with a yellow sticker on it saying, "For stupid idiots who are dumb." Not being one to care about childish insults, she opened it. The crate had guns in it, very similar to the ones she was using before encountering Jack, they looked different, but it was obvious they had the same function. They were still an assault and sniper rifle, two sub machine guns, and some grenades.

Demons had surrounded the vehicle from the outside, trying to break in. In their attempts, they flipped over the APC. Then the back door opened, with two sub machine guns filling the surrounding demons with bullets. A demon tried to sneak up on her from the side, but guardian 121 grabbed it by the neck and slammed it into the door of the APC, crushing its skull and breaking the door off. A larger demon flew in from the sky and tried to swing its claws at her, but guardian 121 grabbed the heavy metal door, blocked its attack and cut that demon's arm off, she then cut off its leg. It then fell to the ground and guardian 121 grabbed its head to drain all the energy it had. She then flew up to the roof of a nearby building, used the assault rifle to kill any demons climbing up the walls to chase her, before quickly realizing she was only wasting time and needed to get moving.

She moved across buildings. The rooftops were relatively empty, since not all demons could fly. When she jumped from one building to another, a demon jumped to her from the gap between them and grabbed onto her leg. Guardian 121 quickly shot it in the face, killing it. Afterwards she was immediately tackled by a flying demon. They fell in the alleyway bellow, crashing into the ground. Guardian dropped the APC door she was carrying. She grabbed the demon by its head and burned its brain and made its eyes melt from the heat. A crowd of demons was rushing in the alleyway. Guardian 121 grabbed a nearby dumpster and threw it at them. With the demons pinned in place by the dumpster, she threw a grenade at them, picked up the APC door and got back to the rooftops.

Meanwhile, Jack arrived at the demon portal. The demon was about to quietly walk past the death knight before getting grabbed by the building sized monster. Not being intimidated by the giant, Jack said, "Hey pal!" Jack looked at its arm to see it equipped itself with a customized tank cannon and said, "I see you took my advice. You should be honored, the smiths don't often make trips to the battlefield." The death knight, tightened its grip, breaking Jack's arms. Jack screamed in pain and said, "AAAAAAAAAA! You... You're not still mad, are you? It's been like a month since I blew up your leg, get over it." The death knight was ready to tear Jack's head off, but then a sniper bullet hit it in the head. The bullet got stuck in the demon's skull, the impact disoriented it and made it drop Jack. Death knight turned its cannon in the direction the bullet came from. Jack landed on its feet and as it ran for the portal, it said to itself, "it seems I still have god on my side, I guess the bitch has more use for me."

After confirming the sniper rifle was ineffective against the death knight, she holstered it and with her sword in hand she flew directly toward the demon. The death knight fired the tank cannon directly at guardian 121, the rocket directly hit the door she was holding, knocking her into a nearby building. The death knight fired the cannon at the building, making it collapse on the guardian.

Thinking it had killed her, the death knight was going to turn its attention to Jack, but the annoying demon had already fled back to the demon world. The surrounding demons were digging through the rubble looking for the corpse, when a bright light came from beneath. After the light disappeared, a fiery explosion incinerated all the surrounding demons and cleared the rubble to reveal the still living guardian.

The demon turned its cannon towards her again, ready to shoot, but guardian 121 was fast enough to get close to the demon, and threw a grenade inside the it. The explosion triggered all the rockets inside and blew the death Knight's arm completely off. Guardian 121 immediately flew towards the head ready to cut it in half, but the death knight swatted her out of the air with its one good arm, into a nearby wall. Guardian 121 got back on her feet quickly and used the assault rifle to shoot the demon in the face. The death knight covered its face with its hand protecting itself, while approaching her. When she stopped shooting, the death knight put its hand away so it could see her, but was immediately back down by a combusting fireball.

Guardian 121 threw a dead demon she had just drained energy from aside and flew into the air glowing bright. The death knight pulled out its giant sword, and tried to cut her down. Guardian 121 easily avoided the large, heavy and slow sword. She tried to cut the death Knight's remaining arm off, but the armor covering it proved to be too durable even for her sword it just got jammed in the metal.

The death knight dropped its sword and grabbed guardian 121, but couldn't hold her for very long as her body ignited and burned its hand. Guardian 121 grabbed onto the death Knight's neck and started draining energy, while simultaneously blasting fireballs in its face, knocking it further and further back. The death knight was barely standing, in front of the portal, it was at her mercy. Guardian 121 summoned fireballs in both hands, and slammed both into the death knight's face, pushing it through the portal.

She landed on top of the dead giant, inside the demon world. It was the time to atone for her failures and to complete her mission. She placed one hand on the death knight's corpse and extended her other hand towards the demon portal. She knew that there was nothing stopping the demons from opening another one, and earth couldn't hope to survive the next attack. Someone had to keep the next portal from opening. The demonic energy flowed through her body, the portal became more and more distorted, until it vanished. There was no going back.

Standing in the middle of a scorched landscape, surrounded by demons, having no more reason to hold back anymore, guardian 121 drained the death knight of all its energy, and her body fully ignited.
