An angel or something

A military humvee was driving on a country road somewhere in Poland. The man on the turret was occasionally shooting the weaker demons they encounter. The two men driving, had concluded that it's a waste of time and ammunition, fighting the more durable demons, and they should only shoot the ones that can move fast enough to catch up to them. While it's not going to help them win the war, it had so far been a relatively effective way of staying alive.

One day, while they were driving, they saw someone fall from the sky in the distance, and that someone was followed by a swarm of flying demons. The gunner saw it and said, "Look! Over there! I think, that thing those demons are chasing is a person." The driver saw it and said, "well since that person is probably dead, so let's go as far away form that place as we can, before they see us." The gunner saw the explosions and pointed out, "I don't think dead people usually have the ability or the mindset to fight demons." Confused the driver said, "Wait, seriously? How do you survive a fall like that?" The gunner Replied, "I don't know, but whoever that is, if he's fighting demons, he's probably on our side. I think we should help him." The driver freaked out and said, "Wait! Dude! No! If we drive into that swarm, we're dead!" The gunner understood this, but it was not what he had in mind, he said, "I know that, I was thinking you drive around them, from a good enough distance for me to shoot, if things work out, the guy fighting the demons will live, if he dies, we'll get out as fast as we can." The driver still thought it was a terrible idea and said, "Oh, we are so screwed."

They drove off the road, into the field around the swarm of flying demons. Not stopping the vehicle the gunner started shooting. In the middle he saw the one demons were attacking, while it was hard to make out, it looked like his arm was burning. There were about 30 of those flying demons there, but they were pretty weak by demon standards, no more durable than humans. Almost every bullet fired from the mounted machine gun killed one of them. Then the demons noticed the humans, so some of them split off from the swarm to attack them. The driver noticed it and said, "Nope!" and turned to drive away. The gunner shot some of them down, but one got to him and sunk its claws into his chest. The claws broke some of his ribs, making him scream in pain and that scream was followed by the demon being cut in half from behind, by guardian 121 who then placed her hand on his injury.

While the gunner was being healed by the woman in broken armor, another demon got its claws on one of her wings, breaking it, but guardian 121 didn't move her hand. When the gunner was healed, guardian 121 grabbed the demon behind her, and jumped off the Jeep and slammed its head into the ground while the two humans we're driving away. The driver was getting confused, not being able to see most of what's happening and so he asked, "What the hell is going on back there!?" The gunner not sure himself replied, "I think, that's an angel or something and she's fighting demons." The driver noticed he referred to her as a she, and said, "That's a angel? Cool, so I guess she doesn't need our help then?" The gunner denied, saying, "Her armor is broken and she's heavily injured, if we don't help her, I don't know if she'll survive." Confused, the driver asked, "Didn't one of the demons just stab you?! Can you shoot in your condition?" The gunner explained, "I'm fine, that angel used some kind of magic on me and the injury is gone now." The driver turned the jeep around to drive back and said, "Well, I guess we owe her then."

Two of the 13 demons around guardian 121, were shot down by the humans driving by. Meanwhile three demons tried to rush at her. One was immediately cut down, the second knocked her down as it was stabbed. While guardian tried to drain the demon of its energy, the third demon attacking grabbed her leg and broke it in half before it was killed by several machine gun bullets. With no time to fix her leg, guardian sat up and threw a fireball at the 7 demons flying towards her, the explosion killed 3 of them, 2 more were killed by the humans and the last one attacked guardian 121, but was cut in half, and its energy was used to partially heal her broken leg.

Guardian 121 got up and started limping towards the two humans who had now stopped their vehicle. The two men stood by the humvee. The driver was uncertain of her motivations and was ready to drive away in case she wants to kill them, but the Gunner knew better. As guardian 121 got to them, she looked at the gunner and checked the part where he was injured. Confused the driver said, "Hi? Uhh... Name's Gustaw. Are you by chance angel that goes around killing demons to save God's beloved children? Because we could use one of those" The gunner replied saying, "Look at her, she's barely standing, you can't expect her to kill every demon by herself." He then turned to guardian 121 and said, "By the way, my name is Leon. If you are here to help humanity, unfortunately you're too late, we alr-" Leon was interrupted by guardian giving him a hug, after seeing there was not a scratch on him. Gustaw was surprised and said, "That's not exactly how I imagined a badass, magical warrior would act." Despite her condition, the only emotion guardian 121 was expressing was relief.

Before moving on, guardian limped back to the pile of dead demons, to drain whatever energy was left in them. The energy she regained was enough to heal all her wounds and partially fix her armor. Leon told Gustaw, "She's heading to Moskow, you know what that means, right?" Gustaw, knowing exactly what that means said, "She's suicidal?" Leon chuckled and said, "Obviously, but she also has the ability to close the demon portal, meaning that I have the obligation to help her get there." Gustaw sighed and said, "I have to help too, don't I?" Leon explained, "No, you're a civilian, you never signed up for war, you shouldn't have to fight." When guardian 121 got back to them, Gustaw told her, "Alright, if you're going to Russia, we'll try to help you get there." He turned to Leon saying, "look around you, everything is dead, there's no way for a civilian to live. The only thing left to do is to fight." As the two got in the humvee, Leon said, "get in the back, it'll be easier if we drive there, besides even if you fly, the clouds are filled with swarms of those flying assholes, they have been flying around tearing apart every plane and helicopter they see." Guardian 121 agreed and got in the back seat.

While in the humvee, Leon said, "Ok, we need to get moving, it's never a good idea to stop driving for too long these days." When Gustaw started the engine, Leon said, "If we're going to Russia we will need a lot more ammunition and weapons, we should get to an army base, or something on the way." He then asked guardian 121, "Do you need any guns too?" Gustaw thought she probably didn't and said, "Dude, she cut a demon in half with her sword and she can shoot fire from her hands, a gun would be a handicap." Leon knew better and replied, "A sword is a short range weapon, and it looked like there's a limit to how much fire she can summon." Guardian 121 nodded in agreement, just now learning that the human weapons, like the ones the undead used, are called guns.

Gustaw being worried asked Leon, "You must know that going to an army base is a stupid plan, right? Those are the places filled with the most powerful demons, there's no way we'll survive there." Leon explained, "only the main ones, when the demons wrecked Belarus, our army started establishing base camps around the country to evacuate civilians, obviously that plan failed miserably, but by now the only demons left in those would be zombies and with them would probably be one of those wizards that control them." Understanding the idea Gustaw said, "Alright, I guess the plan where we probably die is better than the plan where we definitely die, let's do it, just tell me where it is."
