They begin playing "Our Lady of Sorrows" off of their first record. I had to help Mikey with this but he played it perfectly. I began thinking of my hand on his and my arm around him. I really think I'm falling for him.
Mikey didn't mess up once and as the song finished up he stared back at me and smiled. I smiled back.
I looked across the stage. Frank was jumping up and down to the beat never slipping up and Ray moved his fingers up and down the fretboard like a mad man. Gerard with his usual sass and chaotic energy jumped up and down screaming and not always completely singing the words. When he stopped though the crowd always made up for him. Their heads jumped up and down together in synch and the crowd followed along beginning a mosh pit.
I usually always kept my eyes on Mikey, but it was magical to see their stage presence. They had an energy that attracted the crowd and it was contagious. Once you heard the first bits of a song you couldn't stop getting lost in it and listening to all of the parts of it from the instruments to the lyrics.
Soon enough though it had to come to and end and they closed off with their iconic hit, "I'm Not Okay (I promise). The crowd screamed their names and snag everything lyrics along with Gerard. Sometimes Gerard would stop and they would sing his lyrics right back to him. Whenever my fans scream back my lyrics it feels magical. Something you've worked so hard on and you can see people enjoying and accepting it.
The crowd screamed, begging for one more song, but My Chem had already pushed the curfew so it was time for them to head off. Mikey came walking towards me. His hair all sweaty and ruffled, his glasses down on his face, and his shirt ruffled and falling over his pants. I smiled.
"Hey," he smiled, trying to fix his hair.
"Hey," I put my arms up on his shoulders, making sure that no one could see us. Only a couple people knew I was bi. I didn't exactly try to hide it, but I didn't want the whole world know either, I liked the mystery.
"You were so great! You played the songs perfectly," I said.
"Well, only because I had your help," Mikey said looking down and blushing.
"Oh, c'mon that was all you," he looked into my eyes and smiled.
"I guess," he said with humbleness. I put my arms down and grabbed his hand.
"Let's go somewhere," I said.
"Okay, let me just put my bass somewhere and tell the guys," Mikey said detaching his hand from mine and putting his bass away.
"Hey, I'm gonna go somewhere with Pete, I'll be back later."
"Okay," Gerard smirked and mouthed something to Mikey.
"Ugh," Mikey said walking away from Gerard. "So," he said turning to me and grabbing his hand, "where are we going?"
"A surprise!" My face lit up as Mikey frowned.
"Oh no."

Third Person
"Here we are!" Pete said opening the door and letting Mikey out. They got out of their yellow-checkered cars and into the city. When they got out it was around 8:00 pm Pete grabbed Mikey's hand. Pete lead him to a place where him and his band would always play when they were younger. He was taking him to the Avondale Music Hall.
"This is where I would always go when I was younger with Joe and the guys," he gestured to the building. "Occasionally the owner would let us play out here, it's how we got our word out," Pete smiled.
"That's so cool!" Mikey said as he and Pete walked in.
The lights were low and there was a stage at the far end. It was a cafe during the day and a club at night. Right now it was a club.
There was currently a band playing and the floor was crowded with people, thankfully it wasn't too loud.
"Nice place isn't it," Pete said as he took a seat near the bar.
"Yeah, it is!" Mikey said sitting on the stool next to him. They looked towards the stage.
"Honestly the place still looks the same with the crappy lighting and staging," Pete said as he gestured to the stage.
"Yeah, there's that," Mikey said glancing around.
"Of course, they added the cafe recently. It used to just be the bar. We weren't even 21 when we started playing," Pete laughed.
"I just turned 21 when we started the band, so I could have all the drinks I wanted," Mikey smirked.
"Speaking of," Pete glanced towards the bartender who came to take their orders. "What would you like? I'll treat," Pete winked.
"Oh," Mikey said blushing from the wink. "I'll have a peach and lime daiquiri."
"Oh, fancy," Pete says jokingly. "I'll have an old fashioned."
"Hey, what can I say, I'm a lightweight," Mikey said putting his hands up.
"Okay, okay," Pete said smiling. He loved the way you could see his golden hair showing in the light and his eyes shimmered as he moved his head. His white and black glasses reflected the lights and scene around him. He looked beautiful.
"Pete?" Mikey asked catching him off guard.
"Oh yeah, hey," Pete said scratching his head and taking a sip of his tart drink.
"Yeah, well our drinks are here," Mikey said smiling as he took his drink.
They talked for a while, just like that. Enjoying each other's company and passing each other winks and touches across their table.

Pete's POV
The bands had been switched and the music was dialing down. I was so scared, I wondered if he'd laugh at me. I hope not because all I wanted to do was to be closer to him. Not even in a sexual away but more of a romantic way.
I stood up and offered his hand to Mikey. "Michael will you dance with me."
Mikey looked shocked but immediately blushed afterwards. "Yes," he giggled as he took my hand. Our hands touching sent a feeling of shock through me. It felt like electricity was pulsing through every ounce of my body and I felt a high.
Mikey tripped. "Told you I was a lightweight." I giggled and caught him before he fell on the ground. It was crowded but not cramped so there was space for us on the dance floor.
"Whoops," I said smiling as I pulled him up. Now we were even closer than we were before. Mikey put his hands on my hips and I put them around his neck. I wasn't drunk, but I wasn't quite sober either. I felt like I was floating.
Slowly we started swaying back and forth to the beat of the music. The sounds of the slow drums and guitar in the background followed our every step.

Pete and Mike decided to head back to the tour busses now due to the fact that they had to leave in the morning.
It was around 11:00 pm and they were in a taxi. Mikey had passed out and was currently leaning on Pete's shoulder in the cramped space. Pete felt like his heart was opening after so long of trying to keep it shut. He wasn't able to open his heart after past relationships, after being heartbroken and lied to, but there was something about Mikey that was different. Pete didn't think he'd ever hurt him. But sometimes even our gut can lie to us.
