Pete woke Mikey up when they had arrived and helped him back to their tour bus, but before he left he had to say something.
"I had a lot of fun tonight," Mikey said smiling at Pete.
"I did too," Pete blushed. Mikey grabbed Pete's hand and handed him something before walking off and waving goodbye with a wink.

Pete stood there in the middle of the night watching him walk off slightly caught in a trance by the way he walked.

Pete walked off towards his tour bus and walked inside feeling blissed as if he'd met an angel, and in his head he did. When he got inside he saw Patrick sitting on the seats.
"Where were you off to?" Patrick asked.
"Oh," Pete blushed thinking about it and felt as if his eyes were galaxies. "I just went off to where we used to play and showed Mikey around."
Patrick smiled, glad that his friend was happy, but something scared him.
"Just make sure to be careful, you know?" Patrick said, not wanting to bring it up. Pete never had the best experiences with relationships and he didn't want him to get hurt.
"I do," Pete said with a sigh. "I really don't think Mikey would ever do something like that," Pete said walking off to his bunk.
"Okay," Patrick said laying down again and closing his eyes.
Pete walked up towards his bunk. Everything was going so well with Mikey. He learned new things about him, his interests, and about his past and Mikey learned about him too. Maybe it was going too fast or maybe it would be too good to be true, but he didn't care. A new relationship gave him energy and filled him with hope. He knew the dangers of relationships and he couldn't take a repeat, but he also wanted something with Mikey.
Taking chances are like taking pills. It may give you a high for a bit, but there's always a downfall. The trick is you'll never know how big of one it will be.

Mikey walked into his bus and as soon as he closed the door, he leaned up against it holding his hands to his chest and feeling blissed.
"So, how was he?" Frank sat on the couch asking Mikey with a smirk.
"Frank! We didn't have sex!" Mikey said shocked.
"Sure, if you say so," Frank said defensively. "We can tell by the way you look at him and the way he looks at you that there's something going on."
"There's nothing going on, I swear. I don't even like guys," Mikey said. Mikey never really said much about his sexuality. It wasn't like they were homophobic, but he was still scared of accepting himself.
"Okay, okay," Frank said backing off and walking back to his bunk.
Laying in his small bunk and surrounded by the others he thought about it. Maybe he was gay. He'd never really had feelings for girls before and every time Pete was near him he got shivers. But that didnt mean he was gay, did it? These new planted thoughts in his head felt like they were speeding through his brain. Maybe it was time to accept something he'd been ashamed of his whole life.

Mikey's POV
Today we were driving to Indiana for our show at 2:00 pm and we'd be getting there at around 12:00 so we had a fair amount of time. I couldn't wait to see Pete again. I gave him my number so hopefully he'd text me. It was 9:00 am now so I got out of my bunk and headed towards the other guys.
"Hey, Mikes," Gerard said ruffling my hair. "How was your date?" Gerard said.
"Frank! What did you say to him?" I said accusingly.
"Nothing I swear," Frank said laughing.
"Hey at least you have a date," Ray said.

"I don't even know if it was a date," I said giving up and sitting down. "I mean we went out and got a couple of drinks and then danc—"
"YOU WENT DANCING!!" Frank said. "That was so a date! He likes you!"
"Maybe," I smiled looking at the ground.
"What else?" Gerard asked.
"Well we just went out and talked and then we came back here and I gave him my number," I said sheepishly. Maybe I wanted it to be a date.

We just talked there for the hours we had left in the tour bus as we tuned up our instruments. Gerard was set to his usual sketches that included some comic book characters. I really hoped he would finalize them one day, they were amazing. Damn I really hoped Pete would text. My phone buzzed, speak of the devil.
Pete: Hey, it's Pete ;)
Mikey: Took you long enough
Pete: Hey I was scared this was a fake number, I just had such a good time I was scared it was too good to be true.
Mikey: So did I. You're one of the few people I give my number out to, I really enjoyed last night!
Pete: Well you were drunk during most of it
Mikey: Hey I was just tipsy! And I warned you that I can't handle much alcohol!
Pete: Fine, fine.
Mikey: Did I do something embarrassing?
Pete: Do you really want to ask that ;)
Mikey: NOO!
I smiled into my phone.
Pete: I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding. Other than singing really loudly to the music and tripping, nothing much.
Mikey: Ah, well I've done worse so I wouldn't say that that's bad.
Pete: Don't worry, me too
Mikey: So, how much longer do you have till you get there
Pete: About 30 minutes. You?
Mikey: Same. And I think I'm improving. You'll have to give me lessons again sometimes.
Pete: Maybe I will. And maybe you could teach me some of you songs.
Mikey: We'll have to arrange it.
I smiled. This sounded amazing. We continued talking about music and the show when we began to pull into the parking lot.
