I also made some small tweaks to the original backgrounds of the characters- EX: hobi was chosen to be greed, and jungkook doesn't like the others (obv)

"What am I doing here?" Taehyung mumbles, not realizing his solemn words had escaped into the blush room.

"What was that Taehyung-ah?" Hoseok peeked his head around the corner, holding a small bucket of ice, quirking an eyebrow at the boy.

"Ah! It's nothing Hobi, don't worrry my cheek just hurt," Lust said quickly, not wanting to let down his guard and show the powerful beings around him that he was afraid.

Greed approached Taehyung, laying a small, beautifully patterned towel down on the bed.

The smaller boy watched as his hyung set a significant number of ice cubes onto the towel and then wrapped the towel around the cubes.

He twirled the ends closed and handed the makeshift ice pack to Lust, who watched intently.

Taehyung placed the ice pack onto his stinging cheek and sighed in relief as the cool fabric caressed his burn.

"I know it's hard."

Taehyung blinked as he processed the words.

He looked at Hoseok, who was staring softly, almost sadly at his own lap.

"I get it, being a Sin is conflicting. There's high expectations, terrifying powers, wars, and even scarier other Sins." Hoseok continued, not breaking the staring contest with his entwined hands.

"I... i was actually chosen to be Greed. I wasn't born into the lineage like some of the others." The older admits softly.

Taehyung is taken aback for a second, Hobi is saying he was chosen, but Taehyung was sure he'd remember a ceremony for that.

"I know what you're thinking," Hoseok chuckles lightly

"There wasn't a ceremony, the Sins didn't pick me, but I was chosen... by something higher." Greed's face darkens a bit while saying this

"Something higher?" Taehyung questions, unsure of what Hobi means.

"I did something. Horrible. I don't want to talk about it but, apparently it was around the same time the previous greed died. My actions were enough to earn me the spot immediately. I just, ended up here somehow with Pride in my face telling me I was the new greed." Hoseok fumbles with his words a bit. Quickly trying to move past the bit about what he did.

"I was so scared. I didn't want to be a sin. I knew what I had done was horrible but it wasn't an accurate portrayal of who I was... and then all of a sudden I was stuck here. With a personality forced upon me that I wanted to part in."

Taehyung subconsciously lifted his hand up and placed it on top of the older Sin's. Who had started blinking heavily to try and clear the beginnings of tears.

"I had no idea what to do... but yoongi was here. He's different from the others, he just... doesn't care." Hoseok laughs

"He didn't care about what I did or who I was or how I got there. Honestly I still don't think he really cares about me in general but it was refreshing, so I consider him my friend." Hoseok smiles at the sentiment.
