"Yes?" You asked, setting the gun down, "What of it?"
"Are you two..." Hathor made a motion with his hands, "doing a thing?"
You raised an eyebrow. Hathor now had your full, undivided attention.
"What thing?" You demanded, wanting to know what Hathor was implying.
"Ya know man!" Hathor said.
He then used his tongue to poke the inside of his jaw and used his hand to make up and down motions.
You rolled your eyes and scoffed.
"You mean are we fucking?" You questioned.
Hathor looked at you with mischievous eyes, patiently waiting for your response.
"No, we aren't fucking, Hathor," You informed him curtly.
"But, you want to!" Hathor enticed.
"Yeah, that's not happening anytime soon," You muttered.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Hathor, "I thought you two had chemistry?"
"Well, it's sort of fizzing at the moment," you replied, "he's angry at me."
Hathor snorted.
"Are saying that this 'thing' isn't going to work out between you two?" He inquired.
"I'm not sure yet," you replied simply.
"Is he mad at you because of what happened with Hunter? Hunter told me everything..." Hathor voiced.
You finished putting away the guns you were using and faced Hathor with your arms folded over your chest.
"Yeah, that's why he's mad. I really screwed up big time," you answered bitterly.
Hathor chuckled, and it was a shock to you. However, you were also still annoyed because you didn't find your misery funny at all.
"What is so funny?" You snapped.
"N-Nothing-" Hathor laughed, not able to contain his humor.
"It's just- don't you see?? You and Bruce obviously have chemistry! The two of you are literally mad at the other because he got jealous about you fucking someone else! Also, you're upset that he's upset over it!" Hathor chuckled again.
The matter still wasn't funny, but Hathor did have a valid point. If you and Bruce didn't have feelings for each other, you probably wouldn't be mad at each other in the first place.
"Yeah, so I nearly fucked Hunter," you stated, looking at the floor.
You felt somewhat ashamed for admitting that to Hathor. You didn't want that fact to ruin the budding friendship that was starting to grow between you two. Hell, you weren't even really into fucking Hunter. You just wanted to make Bruce jealous.
Hathor growled. His blue eyes hardened with anger. The mirth left his eyes.
"Well, you better not make that mistake again," Hathor said, "next time I see you make a move on him, I'll beat your ass black and blue. Hell, I'll make sure you can't fucking walk, talk, or fuck again."
You looked at him. His eyes were hard and serious.
You raised your hands in the air as if you were facing an officer who was about to arrest you.
"Hey, don't sweat it. I'm not even into him," you assured him as his face began to relax.
"Good." He replied back as he was making his way out of the room.
