You felt somewhat disoriented about the whole experience. You honestly didn't really remember that you had a one night stand with Wick. Well, you didn't remember until now.
It must have been the alcohol, you thought, and the fact that he's still very much alive and in front of me.
Guilt plagued your mind as you finally realized something. You never really told anyone else about Wick or what actually happened that hot and steamy night. Hell, you never ever told Lane, and she just assumed that you two never really hit it off.
Well, she was wrong, very wrong. You never actually ever had the time to finally tell her the truth that you had relations with your platoon leader.
It was already too late anyways. Lane was dead, and it was your fault too.
The group exited out of the hallway and proceeded to sit at a table in the main banquet room. You could smell the savory scent of roast beef permeating through the air as your mouth watered. There was a loud growl from your stomach, reminding you that you hadn't eaten recently.
"Stay alert," she whispered, "I don't trus-"
"-And what are you two whispering about back there," Chandler cut in.
You and Jersey glare at Chandler who smiles at the two of you wickedly.
"It's none of your business," repliedAce, "it's not your place to know anyway."
"Ace, you dirty little traitor," Chandler whined, "I thought I had finally gotten you to see things my way."
"Dear little sister, I'm sorry, but-" Ace played along "-I could never be like you! I could never take the lives of thousands of innocent lives!" She said with disdain.
"It's just business. I have orders just like you," Chandler replied curtly, "so just let me take the folder, and I'll be out your hair."
Wick bent down to whisper something into Chandler's ear without taking his eyes off of you. Whatever he said made Chandler blush and smirk at you.
"Oh, and I'll be taking this one with me," They stated as they pointed at you.
"What?" You spluttered, racking your brain, "why the hell do you want me?"
"Feisty," stated Chandler, "I can see why you would choose him, Wick."
Wick grinned, flashing his hundred watt smile. His eyes gleamed with dirty intentions. You knew what he wanted. He wanted your body. You averted your gaze from him.
Jersey stepped protectively in front of you and glared at Wick. Ace squinted her eyes at Chandler and scoffed.
"He's not going anywhere with you sister-" Ace warned.
"STOP FUCKING CALLING ME YOUR SISTER," Chandler shouted "you lost that title years ago! Besides, I'm non binary you wench."
Ace stiffened and let out a low growl as Jersey kept her eyes on Wick. Wick grinned and changed his position as you slowly reached behind your back.
"Fine. So here we are. You know I can't let you have those codes...OR Kane," Ace said coolly.
Chandler's emerald eyes blazed with an unbridled fury. If looks could kill right now, you were pretty sure everyone would be dead already in this room. You could literally see the steam coming out of Chandler's ears as they responded,
"Fuck you Ace," they shouted, pounding her fist against the table in front of you, "you can't always get what you want. I'm so sick and tired of you being all high and mighty and playing god in this world."
