Sophia's POV( hope you enjoy the meme^)

Right now I am in bathroom to control myself from fainting. I was literally shocked to hear that Mr knight out of blue asked me to marry his son.
Well I am confused what I am gonna say to them. It's something that I need to think about. It's my descison what I want in my life and I can't answer them just in few secs. Above of it, I just met his son today so how can they expect me to marry their son just after the one meeting.
Well Sophia first you need to get out of this bathroom and have your dinner. They probably be thinking that I ran away from the bathroom cause of the time that I have taken right now.

I approached the dining room. Every single person sitting up there was gawking at me like I was the one who ran away with the toilet paper while they were busy in the bathroom doing stuff. Uhhh.. God save me from this conversation. I sat on my chair and suddenly my mum asked me " Why did you take that much time " And I really wanna reply her that mum why a person would go to the bathroom?, obviously to get the stuff out their body and in my case that stuff just got stuck in its way cuz of some traffic that's why I got little late. But I know after this I wouldn't be sitting up here on this chair. So instead of replying that I said " Oh sorry for inconvenience I needed to attend an important phone call. I lied in front of them and looked forward to fill up my tummy.
A heard a sound of throat clearing and saw that it was Mr knight. He asked me again " So Sophia about the question I asked you earlier, what do you think about it?
I replied him in a polite manner " Mr knight I know your looking forward for my answer but please try to understand that it's something I need to think about I can't be rushing about this whole thing. So u need to wait for my answer. I hope you get what I want to tell you.
He said" But the whole contract thing, you don't have
My father suddenly cut him and said Dante( Mr knight) don't worry about that we will discuss this later after  dinner.
I was confused by the whole situation . What is going on?? Please someone enlighten me please.
I know it would be obvious  that I would be looking like a person " One word and you are dead"mood but when I take a look at Austin I was quite surprised. He was not frowning , nothing like sad expression was on his face and he was kinda cool by the situation happening in front of him.
After dinner mom and Mrs knight were sitting in living room chatting about new design and models of course and in the other hand Adam, dad , Xavier and Mr knight went into my father's study to discuss about some business and here I am sitting here all by myself thinking about the contract thing.

After sometime Mr and Mrs knight went back to their respective homes and I went back to my home tired from all the drama happened today and decided to hit the bed early. As I was going to exit the house my father's voice rang in the hallway scaring the shit out me. 😡😡damn.... Dad chill out. I turned my back to see my father in strict mood. He said" Sophia we need to talk" I already know this drama is going to continue further. I asked him" About what? The contract, or something else? "
He nodded and I approached him and told him to continue.
My father said " Sophia when I was going to start this company I had nothing not even a single penny in my pocket and Dante helped me to get where I am today. He is my best friend indeed he is but at that time I wanted to pay him with a favor so we made a contract that at the time when you will be mature enough we will turn this friendship into family relationship by marrying our children and you are my only daughter and you are intelligent enough to understand what I wanna tell you next. " I was bewitched by my father's wordings so he wanna pay me as a gift to their friend as a favor to help him.
I know I was  going to cry any mintue now but I controlled myself and asked him" What you want me to do"?
He replied " It's obvious I want you to marry his son ".
I said " If I said no? "
My father said" You will not and this is not how I raised you. You need to be respectful towards your own parents to provide you with this luxury. "
I said" If I give up everything that you have given me then? "
My father's voice ranged in the whole living room " This is how you repay me after all what we have done for you". I knew you are a spoiled brat. "
I replied with timid voice " If i need to fight for my own descison then it's okay I am a spoiled brat".
I knew it was angering my father but I didn't know that his anger reached up to this extent. A boom sound ranged in the hallway and my cheeks were stinging. My mum and brother gasped. I still couldn't digest the fact that he slapped me only for this thing.
Father screamed at his top voice and said " I knew you would be like this. You seriously are a burden and I don't know how to get rid of you. You are a mistake and I never wanted you in my life . It was only Adam that I wanted as a heir to my company but you happened after him. I want your mother to abort you but I was deeply fallen in love with her that I can't refuse her wish to keep you. And now you are here still burden to me and being an ungrateful bitch. " With that he returned back to his room.
All the tears gushed out of my eyes still not wanting to accept that what happened few minutes ago is true. With that I ran away from the mansion despite of callings of my mother and brother.
