Gabriel's pov

Today Samantha is going to arrive and still I haven't informed her about my changed location. Fortunately last two days were pretty good. No Xavier, and it was a relief. Sophia was pretty good too. I am damn confused about this lady cause sometimes she would be so hard to handle.

Flashback

After the months of our wedding, today sophia decided to visit her parents and before we get ready I already told her that she can spend her whole day with them and I wouldn't be accompanying her as I have to be some where important. And her reaction was something that I never expected. She was scared, I can totally read her through her eyes they turned into lighter shade of blue with a tint of sadness overall i can see her feared face. But why?  I mean I never saw her talk about her family and ever try to make plans involving them. She masked her emotions  with a very cute dimple fake smile. Such a good actress but I feel something is fishy between her and her family. I left the matter there cause I have a lot of stuff to worry about instead of indulging myself into her dramatic family matters.
She handed me my lunch with a sad smile. My gut did a backflip by only seeing her sad emotions in her eyes.
‘today I won't be able to visit you at your office. I have work. ’
I was reluctant to take hold of the lunch.and I was quick to question her.
‘which work?  You surely can get some time to visit me. It will also help you relax from your work a bit. I guess. ’
I said in a convincing tone.
‘ so Mr Knight can get enough of my presence. Huh? ’
She said with a  teasing smile.
‘no it's not like that’god I never stuttered in my life but this woman is bringing my first time to reality.
‘I was just stating a point. It would be helpful for you to get your mind off of all the problems. If we could just talk. I mean if you are OK with it. ’
I said with my regained confidence.
‘ she never replied but approached  me closely. I was staring at her blue eyes. ‘I love what I see in your eyes. ’
She said with a timid voice and I guess it was enough to turn me on and with a that I took a single step and changed our positions and now she was trapped between me and my table. ‘ what do you see in my eyes, that you love sophia? ’ I said in a very husky voice along with caressing her cheeks. I can't control myself around her and that is it. Her one answer I am gonna take her on this table. She leaned in to my touch and after ten seconds or so she said ‘I love what I see in your eyes. ’ she said with sensuality ‘ tell me sweetie,  what is it’?
I said with my one hand around her back and the other one wrapped around her throat.
‘my reflection’ she said and I gave her a "what"? look. ‘ I loved my reflection that I see in your eyes’. She said laughing like a maniac. I removed my hands from her throat and scratched the back of my neck embarrassed about the whole situation. I lost control over myself today. Without glancing back at sophia. I set my way  towards restroom I am sure you all know for what purpose. Someone is asking for attention. And I can still hear her Giggles behind me.

(Flashback over)

This vixen is smart. Thinking about the previous incident brought an instant smile on my face. Well, I don't know whether she is going to come today or not. I called my driver to pick up Samantha from airport after an hour or so. Honestly I don't remember the time when she is going to land. She was telling me but along with her fashionable rubbish. I never paid attention to it.

Sophia's pov

I am going towards my parent's home. I never wanted to go but if I don't then Gabriel would get suspicious about my family matter. I parked my car in the parking and ring the bell. After  thirty seconds martha opened the door for me and smiled at me. I smiled in return. She is such a kindhearted lady. I remember when I was bullied in high school and would come back home crying. She would be the only one person to console me. No one, neither my father nor my mother ever paid any attention to me and provided with the love. It was martha always. I hugged that lady tightly refreshing all my memories of my school.
My parents never loved me I guess. But I never received beatings from them  before and now it is getting worse they never leave a chance to abuse me. I was getting scared with every moment what these people are going to do with me. I hope my father is out of this house. No,out of the state. And lets make it more better,i wish he is out of this damn country.ha that will be so good. I, without making any sound sat on the sofa in living room but my luck is worse than trisha  Paytas's face I guess. My mom and dad both were sitting on the sofa showing their love to each other. Ewww.....
That was nasty. I mean they can get a room for kissing don't do it in front of me or worse in front of martha.
I cleared my throat to get their attention. And my step mother saw me. She made such a disgusting face, really mother? And my father eyes lingering on me for few seconds with fury.
‘what are you doing here’?  He aked with anger evident in his voice.
‘I came here to meet you all’. I said
‘you sure about that? ’my mum smirked at me.
‘trust me, I don't want to waste my time but otherwise Gabriel would get suspicious. ’
Their mouth agape open with my Insult. I saw dad standing up from his seat and coming towards me. This is going to be a heck of a day. God save me please😫🙏🙏💓.
