Sophia's pov

Where am I? This is the first question that came to my mind as I opened my eyes.i saw a drip attached to my arm and white surroundings.i am in a hospital.oh lord!I hate hospitals.all the events of my father abusing me came back to my mind. Remembering those events are like someone is pulling your soul out of your body.its heartbreaking when you parents hate you so much and still here I am confused.i didn't even know the reason why my parents are hating me so much . What is the reason of their hate towards me? Isn't it obvious,my dad started abusing me when i denied to the contract marriage that my dad and MR knight proposed.but what was the reason behind sudden change of behaviour.they never did it before,now it is making me more curious.i need to know the reason.i was all lost in thoughts when someone entered in the hospital room.i turned my head to see it was my brother Adam.
"Hi",he said
I replied with a small "hi" as well
He was nervous I can point that because of the lost of words.perhaps he knows the reason why my parents are treating me that way.if he would have known he would have told me earlier but there was nothing wrong to ask.
As I was going to ask him he cut me off by saying" how are you Sophia"
I answered with a small nod "I am fine"
"I know what you would be thinking that what made dad to abuse you."he said.
I replied with a curt nod and waited for an answer expecting he would tell me and explain me why dad is doing this to me but he was lost in his own world.
I put a hand on his shoulder and encouraged him to tell me .my eyes were literally begging him to tell me .
He turned his head and said " you will not do anything stupid if I told you"
I replied with a simple okay and waited for his answer.
He said"my mom is not your birth mother but your step mom.
I was shocked to say anything and listened him quietly.he continued " dad had an affair with a model when my mom was busy paying attention to me. Because of the lack of attention given  by mom .dad got frustrated more specifically sexually frustrated.so he started doing one night stands with your birth mother .when my mom realised dad's deeds she asked for divorce but dad didn't want to break his marriage because of this issue.my mom told dad on his mouth that she would not accept a man who cheats on his wife but dad somehow convinced my mother for not getting divorced.
He convinced her that my mom is more important and their son is his life and he love them to moon and back.my mom was happy that dad is changing for their family but there is a twist ,one day your mother appeared at our mansion saying that she is pregnant with you and wanted dad to become the baby's father  and fulfill his duty as a father to their baby.by listening to it my mom was upset, beyond upset.and I was hating your mother because of destroying our happy family but I never realised that it was my dad's fault .he couldn't keep in his pants.my dad is cunning person.he told my mom that he loved her and would not leave her for your birth mother.my mom was elated but you were not born.my dad knew that you mother was the daughter of a big business man and made deal that he would live with your birth mother until you are born ."
By listening to my brother my eyes were filled with tears and I asked him about my mother expecting that I would meet her .
But fate has another plans for me because my brother replied that " your  mother died in the hospital the day you were born.she was so happy to have you but unfortunately she was not able to see you with her own eyes. Then dad brought you to our house because he was pressurized by your mother's dad.then because of that my dad took every responsibility towards you in papers but not in real life .he hired a nanny for you . That's why you are mostly neglected by my mom and dad and they become sweet with you only if they need something in return from you.just like the day you were going to meet MR knight and MRS knight .
I was surprised and shocked to listen it .but one thing stuck in my mind .if my mom and dad hates me then why would they give me a boutique and that to be the best one in the country. And curiosity got the best of me and I asked my brother for the answer to which he replied"it was never my mom's , it was always yours .intially it was your mother's' rose ' but after her death it was transferred to your name and you would get it when you will turn 18 that's why my mother was managing it till you were 18 . There were a lot of questions surfing through my mind that I wanted to ask him but suddenly a sob escaped my mouth by learning till this day I was living my life like whole lie .my mom is dead and my father hates and here I am lying on a hospital demanding answers.
