A Year Later, I was laying in bed, when my baby came crawling over to me. I could tell she was hungry, because she always get fussy when she's hungry. Mahalia could take one step and then fall. She is growing quickly and catching on really fast. I still the love her baby talk, we sit there and have a full blown conversation and you wont understand a thing were saying.

"Hey sis, where do you keep the diapers?" Tucker asked. He was visiting, since he hadn't seen the baby since she was born. "Beside the crib in Mahalia's room." We had also moved into a three bedroom apartment now that Kelly has officially moved in. We go half and half on the rent.

I turned my nose up when I smelled the nasty smell of Mahalia's diaper. "P U, you need to lay off the cereal or whatever your mama's feeding you," Tucker held his breath as he held the diaper out. "I wiped her up, just go put her a fresh diaper on," he said. "I'll go dispose of this in the large trash outside."

As soon as I stood up, I saw Kelly picking Mahalia up. Apparently, she had already changed her into a fresh diaper. "Little girl, you are blessed beyond measure. You have a wonderful mommy and Uncle that loves you. Auntie loves you too," she played with her feet. "One little piggy went to the market, one little piggy stayed home, one little piggy had roast beef, one little piggy had none, one little piggy said wee wee wee, I can't find my way back home," Kelly sang grabbing each of Mahalia's toes until she made it to the last one.

I felt like crying, because my mama used to sing that to me when she used to love me. Oh well, when life throws you lemons you have to make lemonade. Never cry over spilled me, wipe it up and keep it moving. I learned at the age of sixteen, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
