"Your room will be right here," Rochelle showed me a big room that was painted lime green. When I walked in, I immediately saw a flat screen TV a big bed with green and blue comforters. A blue circle chair to the far side of the room, looking inside the closet it was a walk in. Last but not least, there was a brown wooden desk with pencils, paper and stencils on top of it. "The adoption agency told me that you liked to paint, so I figured I'd get you a few things to start you out," she smiled. "Do you like it?" She looked at me expectantly like I was gonna give a negative response. "Yes ma'am," I smiled. "You can call me Rochelle or mom, whatever floats your boat," she said then we walked to the next room.
The room across from mines was painted Red and Black, it looked more like a game room. The bed was a shaped like a boat with black comforters with red lines. "Cool," Tucker said when he looked at the games. It all seemed to good to be true. There was a PlayStation4, a Wii U, a GameCube and a Nintendo64. My eyes grew wide when I saw a cabinet with an unlimited supply of games for each game set. Instead of a circle chair like I had, my brother had a red beanbag in his room. There was also a flat screen in his room, except his TV was bigger. I felt a tinge of jealousy, but that faded as soon as Tucker hugged me. "Were never leaving here and if you try, your on ya own," Tucker said with all the seriousness he could muster up.
Heading for the living room, we all took a seat on the long L shaped couch. "What y'all feel like doing today?" Rochelle asked. "What about bowling !? Tucker beamed out of the sky blue. Where he got that idea from, I will never know. "Bowling it is," Sebastian clapped his hands together and stood up. "Go get cleaned up first, I'll make lunch then we can leave," Rochelle said walking into the kitchen.
Tucker's POV
I had never been so excited in my life, when I walked into my room. I felt like I'd died and went to video game heaven. There were more games that I had ever seen. Literally, I'm never coming out of my room. Except to eat or use the bathroom. "What's wrong, don't you like your new room?" I asked Monique walking into her room. "Yea, I just got this feeling like when everything is going right that something has to be wrong or go wrong," Monique explained. "Let's just enjoy everything while its going smooth, deal?" "Yea, I guess your right. I'm probably just over thinking the whole situation." "Yea, so cheer up, put a smile on your damn face and be happy," I said pushing her shoulder. Monique gave me a pointed look when I cursed, but I was too excited to care.
Fifteen minutes later, we walked out and I smiled even brighter when I saw my sister with a smile plastered across her face. "Come and eat, so we can leave," Rochelle instructed. The kitchen was kind of small, but I guess that's why the rooms are so big. It contained the basics,a refrigerator,a stove and a bar to sit at. We pulled a seat up to the bar and ate our ham and cheese sandwich and chips and chugged our hawaiin punch.
"Let's get some bowling shoes and we can choose an alley to start bowling on." There was skinny black lady smacking on gum like it was no tomorrow. The woman had weave that looked like it had been in for years, it was all knotted up and threw on top of her head. It like I couldn't take my eyes away from her, she looked a hot ass mess.
Monique's POV
"What yo size is?" The lady asked. They just give anybody a job nowadays, I thought to myself. "Size seven," I said softly. "What size boo, Ima need you to speak up.." "Size seven ! I yelled. Maybe if you weren't chewing on that gum like a grazing cow, you could hear what I said," I shot back rolling my eyes."Stay in a child's place," she said slamming my shoes in front of me. "Next ! She cut me off before I could say anything. Rochelle and Sebastian just stood back looking amused. "She was rude, they need to get some better customer service," Sebastian commented. "I'm size 8 1/2 , Did you hear me?" Tucker yelled loud enough for for the woman to hear. "Nah, you might need to get a little louder," she said sarcastically shoving shoes in front of my brother. I looked at her like she was crazy and was finna walk up to her to correct her, but I took a deep breath and let it go.
