After the drama in the hotel, the encounter with Elena, and a hot passionate night between Y/n and Sam, the lovebirds and Nathan continued to search for Avery's treasure.

With the boat that Sully rented for the trip, they drove around the whole islands full of dead pirates and remains of ships to find the legendary pirate island 'Libertalia'.

So they searched for useful clues beach by beach.
When they arrived at a cliff with ruins that looked like those from the Saint Dismas Cathedral, they had no other way out instead of an unstable bridge.
And we all know how safe these bridges from the 17th century are, right?

Sam climbed up to the bridge first and ran carefully over it, but as expected the bridge was torn in the middle and Sam was lucky and could get to the other side of the cliff.

"Sam!"
"You okay?", both shouted. "Okay...still need to get you two up here", Sam said and disappeared.

Y/n and Nathan were below the cliff instead, waiting for Sam to find a solution.

After a few minutes, there was still no sign from Sam and the two called for his name. But no reply. Nathan sighed and stood at the end of the cliff, watching the sunset slowly goes down.
Y/n joined him.

"Well, let's see here", Nathan started to say.

"I ruined my marriage. Drove my best friend away"

"Got two psychos and their army after us", Y/n continued.

"And now my brother's gone missing. But, on the bright side, there's no one around to tell me I'm an idiot"

"I'm still here", Y/n said, making Nathan chuckel at her comment.

"Y/n I don't want to force you to do anything, but why exactly do you have such a phobia against snipers?" Nathan asked and looked at her.

"It has its reasons, Nate. And one day you will understand," she said, staring out at the horizon.

He looked at her suspiciously until she noticed his look and grinned.

"I promise"

He nodded and accepted her answer. Someday, Nathan thought.
Someday, she will surely explain it to them.

"I still have a question," he said and she looked at him questioningly.

"Last night, between you and Sam ..."

As soon as he spilled the question, she started to laugh nervously and knew where it was going.

"We ... we take easy steps"
"Easy? That didn't sound easy in the bedroom," he joked, getting a push from her.

"All right, where's your lover gone?" Nathan asked when he noticed how long his brother had been gone.

"We can climb up there," she said, pointing to the other half of the broken bridge that hung like a ladder on the cliff face.
Together they climbed over and saw how Sam trying to push a heavy box down.

"You're already up here?", Sam asked.

"Where were you?", Y/n asked him confused.

"Finding a way to get you guys up here. All right jump across than", he offers his hand.

When it was Y/n's turn to jump over, Sam grabbed her wrist and patted her on the back.

"You didn't hear us?", she asked him.

"When?"

"Back there. We called out for you"

"didn't hear you. Why, were you worried?", he asked with a bright grin on his face.

"I was worried you got distracted".

Sam put his arm on her shoulder and hugged her from the side.

"Oh, I'm distracted now", he said and moved slightly backward to have a perfect sight at Y/n's ass.

"What's that supposed to mean?", she asked and when she looked up at him, he jerked his gaze from her ass and smirked innocently at her.

"Nothing. Shall we?" he said, taking his arm from her shoulder and jogging to Nathan.

The trio was in a new test, where all pirate captains lifted from the ground and the door to the exit opened.

"I think you got it!", Sam shouts with full excitement and laughed as the last Pirate Captains showed up

"And the last of our crew... Richard Want, Edward England and Thomas Tew"

"Woah, Woah. Wait a minute. That's only eleven pirates", Y/n realized as she looked around for the missing pirate.

"We are missing our star pirate", Nate said curios.

They ran to the exit and found the last pirate statue on the opposite island. "Holy shit..."

They made their way back to the boat and drove to the Henry Avery statue. Avery had a giant spyglass in his hand but he doesn't look in it.

"he's not really looking through it", Sam said.

Sam helped his little brother up to the spyglass and when he climbed out onto the giant Avery statue he looked through it.
Sam and Y/n waited anxiously for his observation.

"So...? Big skull-shaped island?"

Nathan jumped off the statue.
"Big island. No skull"

"That's gotta be it", Sam said with excitement and optimism.
But Nathan was probably not so enthusiastic about the matter and made it clear to Sam.

"You know, it is just us here. You're allowed to feel just a little bit of excitement over this", Sam complained.

"I'll get excited when we get Alcazar's nose off your neck. C'mon"

Nathan was about to run past, but when he heard his brother chuckle, he sighed and questioned him.

"What?"

While the Drake brothers were arguing, Y/n suddenly saw a lot of boats driving around the island. It was immediately clear to her who that was and so she tried to make the two of them aware of it.

"Guys... guys", she tried but the brothers didn't listen until she shouted at them.

"God damn,Ladys! Stop arguing like babies and take a look at that"

The two also looked out to sea and saw how the boats gathered around the whole island.

"Is that our boy Rafe?", Nate asked.

"Who else", Y/n said bitterly and run to their boat.
