"Loki, what do you believe about the universe? Like how it started and how we all got here?"

He furrowed his eyebrows in thought for a moment before he looked up again. "I'm not sure. I was never one for history."

"Alright that's fine. I'll explain everything in more detail later but basically, in the begining, God made mankind to be with Him in a garden called Eden. But man rejected God and then the world fell to be this sucky, awful, place we live in today.

But God wanted to be with us so badly that he sent His son, Jesus, to live as a human and be the ultimate human sacrifice to atone for all of humanity's sins. He died, and three days later he rose again, so that whoever believes in Him and accepts God's mercy will enter the Kingdom of God. And when we accept God's love He gives us the Holy Spirit to help spread his love. So that's how your hands were healed." I gestured to his hands again. "And that's basically who Jesus is." I finished off with. He sat there, still deep in thought. There was a lot more I could have told him but, everything is one bite at a time right?

"I have so many more questions. It seems crazy, but I can't deny that I was just healed." I nodded my head and smiled.

"He healed you because He loves you Loki. He doesn't want you to suffer because you're His child and He's your father."

At this Loki scowled at the ground and said, "Love? Ha! Why would he? I've killed thousands, maybe millions, of innocent lives and I enjoyed it. Does your God still love me after all that?" He scoffed, shaking his head and kept glaring at the ground.

Loki, He doesn't love you because of all the wrong you've done. He loves you in spite of all the wrong you've done. And He freaking loves you so much that He made a way to be with you again. You just have to be willing to repent and get to know Him. If you don't believe me, then you can read it all for yourself."

Loki stared at the ground for what felt like an eternity before he slowly looked at me, his brow furrowed, and said, "Where can I read it for myself?"

Loki's POV

"Where can I read it for myself?" I asked her. I couldn't describe what came over me. All I know is that I felt a warm feeling in my chest that urged me to find out more of what Britney was speaking about. Some might call it a gut feeling? But whatever it was, I listened to it.

She smiled, the moon exagerating the twinkle in her deep brown eyes, and got up. She then turned to me and extended her hand. "Follow me." I took her hand and arose myself. The bright white, full moon guided our steps back to the house and when we got there she led the way in and towards my room of all places. She opened the door without a second thought and entered as if she owned the place (I mean, I suppose she did, but still). The bed was still a mess from when I hurried out earlier, but she didn't pay it any mind. She went straight to the small bookshelf in the corner and pulled out a large black leather book and handed it to me.

"Here. This is the story of the man I told you about. Why don't you start Ephesians tonight and tell me how you feel about it tomorrow. It has the Nordic and English next to each other." She said and handed it to me. I took it and started flipping through it. "And one more thing. When you go to bed tonight, ask God to speak to you in a dream." My heart started beating faster again and I got that same warm feeling in my chest.

I looked into her eyes and shrugged. "Well, even if this is a bunch of nonsense, I've got nothing to loose" not that I believed she was lying (I'm the God of lies, I can tell when someone's lying.) But I knew she believed everything she said to be true. And that at least says a little. "Thank you. I'll do that."

"Goodnight." She said. "We'll talk in the morning." And with that Britney turned to leave, closing the door behind her. I sat down on my bed and leaned against the headboard. I then opened the book to the table of contents in the front to see where Ephesians was, and turned to it to start reading.
