Britney's pov
"Loki! Wake up!" I had been shaking him by the shoulders for a good five minutes and he still wouldn't snap out of it. He was tossing and thrashing in his bed and from the way he was screaming I suspected his dream became pretty bad.
His eyes shot open. They were unfocused and bloodshot, like a college student who stayed up all night stressing over a test. He quickly sat up and looked around frantically. "Hey, Loki. It's me remember? It's Britney. You're in Texas." I took his hand in mine, our thumbs interlocking like one of those 'bro' handshakes. With my other hand I grasped his shoulder again and kept a firm grip while he came back to reality. He locked eyes with me, and held onto my hand as if his life depended on it. "Loki. It's me." I said. Then finally his eyes came into focus and his breathing evened out. He blinked a few times and looked around to see where he was.
"Oh my God." He said with a shuddering breath. He then turned his gaze from me and looked ouside. "What have I done?" At that he pulled away from me, threw off his covers (don't worry y'all, he was fully clothed), and dashed out the door. I followed him, of course, to see if I could make sense of the situation. But what he said led me to believe that he didn't just have a dream. He was given a dream.
Loki strode towards the front door and swung it open to the blinding first light outside. He continued on, blinking away the brightness until he got to the spot we sat last night and I shared the gospel with him. For a while he just stood there gazing into the distance, covering his mouth with his hand. I stood a few meters back, just observing him and trying to decide what to do. His shirt was soaked through with sweat and his hair was a mess. He was in such a hurry that I guess he failed to think of shoes.
I began to walk towards him, being intentoinal to step loudly so as not to alarm him. I came up on his right side and stared off into the distance with him. We stood there for a while together. He seemed like he was trying to hold his composure together but was struggling. I let a few more moments pass before I finally spoke. "Did you do what I told you to?"
He nodded slightly.
"What happened?" I asked him calmly.
He turned to me, and shook his head saying, "It would be easier just to show you." He put his palm to my forehead and suddenly, I was no longer in sunny Texas. I was in a cold damp prison. He showed me the whole thing, from meeting Yeshua (the Hebrew name for Jesus), to being dragged away by Satan into the darkness. The whole thing gave me chills down to my toes.
I was pulled out of the memory and came back to reality. 'No wonder he reacted like he did,' I thought. "It's all true. All of it. I'm condemned. I've done such horrible, awfull, selfish things." He backed away and frantically brushed a hand through his hair. "I deserved everything I got, and so much more." He had started tearing up at this point and wispered, "What have I done?"
I approached him again. "Loki, you've done a lot. A lot of selfish things, a lot of horrible things, and a lot of evil things. And God gave you that dream to show your fate. You belong to Lucifer, Loki." At hearing those words, he completely broke down. He fell to his knees and started sobbing. "But that doesn't have to be your fate." He looked up at me like a child with huge glassy, desperate eyes. "Remember what I told you yesterday about Jesus and how he payed the price in your place?" He nodded slightly. "He took your punishment upon himself so you could be redeamed and saved from Satan. So he could have a relationship with you. So you could inherit the rights of sonship in the kingdom of God. Because He loves you that much. And all you have to do, is accept His free gift of saving grace, and accept Him. What do you think Loki?"
He turned his gaze to me then. His eyes were red and his face was tear-stained. He looked utterally distraught, but when I asked him that, another emotion could be seen in his face. And that was hope. "I think I want nothing more than forgivness." He whispered like he was scared of speaking his wishes, for fear of them being taken away. Of course he had nothing to worry about though.
"Then the time is now." He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He probably couldn't fathon what was about to happen. I got down on my knees in front of him and took his hands in mine. He was trembling.
The spiritual realm must've been on the edge of its seat. My heart raced rifht alongside his and even though I hate to admit it, I was nervous too. I mean this was eternal life and death I was dealing with.
"Loki, are you ready to repent of your sins and put them behind you?"
"More than anything."
"Then tell God." The spirit will lead you in your words."
He closed his eyes then, and turned his head downward. "God, I repent of my wicked ways. I repent of every wrong thing I've done," He started tearing up again. "And I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry."
"Loki, do you believe that Jesus died to save you?" I asked him, meeting his eyes.
He gave a firm, "Yes."
"Then declare it!" I told him firmly.
I believe that Jesus died in my place to pay for my misdeeds and that He's my personal savior." He said with confidence.
My heart started beating faster. I had forgotten how thrilling it was to bring someone into the Kingdom. "And now you just need to accept God's gift of redemption like I told you."
He nodded and continued. "God. I accept your free gift of salvation. I accept your invitation into your kingdom." He paused for a moment before he said the next few words. "And I accept the Holy Spirit." And when he said that something happened. He inhaled a deep breath and opened his eyes. Something was definitely different.

Loki's POV
As I said those words I felt what could only be described as a supernatural cleansing of my body and mind. I felt all the heaviness I didn't know existed leave me. I felt an overwhelming peace come over me like nothing I'd ever experienced. I felt true joy, something I thought I knew but really didn't until that moment. I felt whole. I felt refined. I felt refreshed. I felt loved. I felt happy, peaceful, clear.
I felt brand new.
I locked eyes with Britney once again. She was the one crying now, while smiling the biggest I'd ever seen. She pulled me into an embrace and after a while she whispered "Welcome home Loki."
"It's good to finally be home."
