"Are you ready Jho?"
I close my eyes and took a deep breath.
Whooo! You can do this Jhoana! You've done this a thousand times.
I slowly opened my eyes and looked at Ged.
"Yes. Let's do this Ged."
I said and gave him a convincing smile.
"Wag kang kabahan Jho! Yakang yaka mo yan!"
Bakit ba kasi ako kinakabahan? It's not like I'm want to impress my ex girlfriend or something. I just want this to turn out well because I put alot of effort and had a couple of sleepless night for this.
Dahan dahan kaming pumasok sa office ni Beatriz.
Sinalubong naman kami ng secretary nya.
"Ma'am nasa loob na po si Ms. De Leon. She's with the president maam."
Di ko alam na pupunta pala ngayon si Tito Elmer.
Pumasok naman kami agad ni Ged.
"Good morning, I'm so sorry we've made you wait."
Sabi ko sa kanila with an apologetic look. Sana umepekto.
"No it's okay. We're just here early. Excited ata si Beatriz sa meeting na to."
Nagulat naman ako sa sinabi ni Tito, hindi ko alam na it pala ibigsabihin ni Tito na tutulungan nga akong mabawi si Beatriz.
"Dad! What are you talking about?"
Nakita ko naman na sobrang namunula na yung mukha ni Beatriz. Tsk. Effective parin kaya sa kanya yung Jhoana charm ko?
"Don't mind her Jhoana, please preceed to the presentation."
Ngitiin ko naman si Tito Elmer at nag simula na kaming magpresent ni Ged.
After 20 minutes
"This is wonderful Jho! This is much much better from your previous design. Don't get me wrong. This is so aesthetic yet so bold and elegant. It seems like the whole concept and design where all about the De Leon."
Masayang Sabi ni Tito. Ngumiti naman ako ng pagka lakilaki. Hays worth it lahat ng pagod!
"What can you say Beatriz?"
Nawala Naman bigka yung ngiti ko, Hindi ko masabi if nagustohan ba ni Beatriz yung presentation kasi naka poker face lang to habang nagprepresent ako.
"It's okay, pwede na."
Napatingala naman ako bigla, yun na yun? Eh Ang ganda kaya nagpagkaka present namin, tsk hindi man lang nya na appreciate.
"Beatriz, common. You don't have to deny it. It was the best. I can't wait for you two to work on this. This will be the highlight of the year!"
"PO?!/WHAT?!"
Sabay na sabi namin ni Beatriz. Halata sa mukha namin ang pagkagulat, yung singkit na mata ni Beatriz biglang lumaki.
"What's the problem? I'm assigning you two for this project. Jhoana, you'll take charge of this, from the production to the output. Beatriz you will supervise."
