Later On

They drove away from the house terrified out of those minds! They drove for about 30 minutes in complete silence. Eventually, Serena spoke up,

"Now do you believe me?"

"Ye . . . Yes, but I . . I don't. . . . I don't know what happened." her mother said.

"Maybe we should go somewhere, and then come back in the morning. her father suggested.

"Yeah! That might be a good idea!" Serena said nervously.

They drove in silence, stopped at a gas station, and got out, got some food and drinks, and got back in the car. by the time they got back in the car it was about 12 am in the morning. All of them were tired, Serena had no idea what to do. Her parents were terrified, so they all slept in the car. They woke up early that morning, and drove back home. They unlocked the door, and carefully stepped inside, they were silent and listening to everything, and every little noise. Soon after, they calmed down and went to the kitchen, they all busted out laughing, thinking that this whole thing was all in their minds. They ate, and laughed. Serena decided to brush her teeth and change, and go for a walk. Her mother and father would clean up, and talk. Serena walked up their street and found that girl who she met a couple days ago.

"Hey! Your name is Talia?"

Hey, yes you got it right! Yours is Serena?"

"Yeah, how are you?"

"Oh I'm good, I was just strolling!"

"Cool! me too, I was wondering if we could get to know each other?".

"Sure, I don't see a problem with that!"

"Cool, so how long have you lived in this area?"

"Um, I think about 10 years . . . Yeah about 10 years!

"Ok cool, has the house, the one I live in, been here a while?"

"Yeah, it was abandoned until you moved here!"

"Oh ok, I just wanted to know."

"I don't want to scare you, but do you know the legend?"

"I'm not sure what you're talking about?"

"Well a while ago, a little girl and her parents lived in that house. they were pretty cool, at least from what I have heard, anyways, the little girl was playing and, she played with a new toy, by after she started playing with it she changed! She started becoming mean, rude and just not a normal little girl. Her parents were scared of her! They tried seeking help, but they couldn't find any. I heard that this little girl killed her parents, others say they had a heart attack and died. But a lot of people think that the little girl was possessed and that she killed her parents, and that she died because of that spirit or something! But some say that you can hear a little girl's laugh or cry at night!".

"Oh wow! I never heard that!"

"Yeah, but I don't think it's real, it can't be!"

"Yeah, anyways I think it's time for me to start heading home, do you want to hang another time? Maybe tomorrow?"

"Sure! Do you want to meet at your house or mines?"

"Is my house ok?"

"Sure no problem!"

"Ok I'll see you tomorrow! Bye!"

"Ok, bye!"

Serena walked home terrified, is the legend true, or she just out of her mind?
