Serena woke up with a killer headache, she didn't sleep well at all. She kept having a dream about the face of that shadow. Her parents came downstairs looking a mess.

"Good morning sweetie! How are you feeling?" Her mother asked.

"I feel ok, it's just I had this weird dream and I . . . I am, kind of hungry!"

"Ha ha, I would think so, you barely ate anything yesterday! I'm making pancakes!" Her father said.

"Ok, cool! I'm gonna go brush my teeth and change my clothes!" Serena said as she got up.

"No! you cannot leave this couch, remember what the doctor said!" her mother exclaimed.

"But. . . But"

"No buts, you are staying here, I'll bring a bowl for you to brush your teeth." Her mother said.

"Ok, but I have one very important question!"

"Ok, what is it?" her mother asked.

"Can I get up to go pee or poo?"

"Why would you even ask that! of course you can get up to use the bathroom!"

"So can I go to the bathroom?" Serena asked innocently.

Her mother mumbled and nodded her head, Serena went to the bathroom and did her business. After she finished, she came out with a fresh smelling mouth and some clean clothes on.

She went to the kitchen, and sat down on the table, her father brought her a plate of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup on them. She took a bite, but before she could swallow, she saw the shadow again, her mouth was stuffed, and she just stared at the shadow. Her parents looked worried.

"Hey sweetie, is everything ok?" her father asked.

"Huh! Oh . . . Yeah. . . . Yeah everything's fine!"

She took another bite, and chewed, then swallowed with a huge smile. All of them finished their breakfast in silence. It was awkward, but after they cleaned up, they all went to watch tv. But the whole time all Serena could think about was the shadow. They pretty much did the same as yesterday, watch tv until it was time to go to sleep. Serena was laying on the couch, she was thinking. She decided that in the morning, she was going to tell her parents. But, right when she was about to sleep, the shadow reappeared. This time right in her face. Serena was about to scream, but again nothing came out! The shadow's face was becoming more clear, it cleared even more, showing Serena the face! But it was difficult all Serena could see was a woman. It began to show Serena everything, but it was too much, she couldn't understand. But Serena knew that this shadow was here for a reason. All of a sudden she heard a little girl laughing. Serena screamed, she got up and ran to her parent room! She busted in unable to breath or talk. She was in to much terror!
