minjoo let out a sigh, taking in the beauty, in the form of chaewon, in front of her. she was supposed to be mad but when the sun reflected from the chandelier shone right onto chaewon's glowing face, the younger couldn't help but crack a smile; hearing nothing but muffled giggles from behind the girl.

chaewon was painted in the most fluorescent colors. minjoo would've believed the palette God used to create her could make Picasso shed a tear. when the older returned a smile, rays of colors from every end of the spectrum went running in all directions, looking for an untouched canvas on to leave a mark.

with a simple cock of her head, minjoo was left with an unmistakable smear of chartreuse. chaewon doesn't need a paintbrush, for she uses her own fingertips to draw the colors to life, to minjoo's life; the younger hadn't felt this tender in quite some time.

"could i get you a cup of water?" the other says lowly, worry filling her eyes. minjoo only nodded, feeling her throat dry. chaewon giggles a little before latching her hand to the other's arm, grabbing her carefully towards the kitchen.

"you know, i'm sorry... i- i know i should've never said something like i did, and it was fucking ridiculous considering how much i care about you-" the girl mumbles pouring some room temperature water with a couple of ice cubes into a tall class. "-i mean, i just- just shouldn't have said it. it must've just slipped in the state of anger, it wasn't you-"

feeling a warm hand on hers, chaewon turned her head swiftly, suddenly feeling her subconsciously shaking hands calm. "it's okay, i'm okay now." minjoo's quiet voice sounds.

the taller takes the glass courteously and takes a sip, before almost spitting all the water out when the older rustles, "let me take you out and make this up to you, please."

minjoo choked on her water. biting her lip, her eyes everywhere but on chaewon. in her despair, the black-haired teen moves closer with those eyes that look so deeply into minjoo's, "it'll be fun and worth it, i promise!"

their breathing becomes softer as the student body president gazes at the pensive look melting into a smile as soft as the morning light. her body squirms just a little as her muscles relax.

there was something about that gaze of the other's that she hasn't felt in someone else. at that moment minjoo felt their souls meet and maybe even shake hands.

minjoo gives in, just this once though, she tells herself. "fine, i've never heard you say please before, so this is just a gift for that," her voice solemn but her grin giving it all away.

chaewon gives out a titter that rolled about the room like a child's spinning top, vibrant and heartwarming moving minjoo in the most chaotic way. "okay, princess, just because of that."

"let's go get changed, and we can get brunch at my favorite place by the beach." the older says, a little too quietly, rubbing off the flour on her face.

"i don't have clothes though..." minjoo murmurs looking down, a blush creeping up her face.

"i know... i have plenty for you to choose from." the older beams, pulling minjoo up the stairs - until they were hindered by kids crashing into them.

"chaewonie! is she your new girlfriend?"
"are you her special someone? are you? are you?"
"wonnie, why didn't you tell me?"

questions overwhelmed their ears, and the two stood awkwardly between the kids. chaewon stretches down to the tallest one, minjoo remembering it was wonyoung, whispering something in her ears.

she quickly told the others the news and they all chuckled loudly before running back to the dining table, like kids by a playground. this left minjoo frowning, "what did you say?"
