I hope you guys enjoy the first chapter of this story it's pretty long because I had fun writing it but all you need to know is that the main character (you) has been best friends with David and Felix for a long time and she lives next door to David. Enjoy! 💕
~Damn Thunderstorms~
I desperately scrolled through my phone for something to do, but again found nothing. I don't know why I expected there to be something interesting the millionth time I checked... I jolted at the sound of thunder a bright flash illuminating my window.
I inwardly groaned, damn thunderstorm's. My hand instinctively reached for my phone again. Let me just text Felix and see what's up...maybe we can all hang out at David's. Not because I'm scared of course...
(Y/N): Heyyyy
Felix: Thunderstorm? He responded immediately. He knew me too well.
(Y/N): Maybe
Felix: At D's hurry over before I eat the last flan
I smiled and shoved my phone in my jean pocket flying down the stairs. This is why living next to David was convenient for all of us.
Felix, David and I had been best friends for as long as I could remember, Felix practically lived at David's half the time, so I was usually there just as much. I pulled on a hoodie from our coat closet and yelled at my dad who was busy working in his office.
"I'm going over to David's!" I pulled on my worn converse and waited for a reply.
"Alright!" He peeked out his office door and smiled. "Stay safe and be home by 11:00, It's a school night. Love you."
"Love you too." I waved and pulled up my hood. I stepped outside instantly becoming drenched. I locked the door in a hurry and shoved my hands in my pocket jogging next door.
Fumbling for the key in the plant next to the door, I shivered, the wet hoodie beginning to soak the t-shirt I had underneath. Hopefully I could borrow one of David's or his sisters. Another crack of thunder made me almost drop the key. I unlocked the door and flung it open probably looking crazy.
David's mother looked up from her computer and waved. "Hi, (Y/N)"
"Hi!" I kicked off my shoes and peeked into the living room. Felix smiled at the sad sight of me.
"Jeez, you look like you got hit by a bus." He took another bite of his flan. The hoodie was beginning to chafe at my dry skin. I grabbed the end of it attempting to pull it over my head.
"Felix..." I groaned the hoodie blocking my vision and sticking to my arms. He burst out laughing. I blushed and shouted annoyed with his usual demeanor. "Help me!"
I flailed my arms around trying to pull it off myself. I froze at the sound of him moving off the couch. "Your hopeless, hang on..." he sighed exaggeratedly. The sudden feeling of his warm hands on my torso attempting to still my squirming made me jerk back.
"Sorry," He muttered surprised by my reaction his hands grazed over my ribs and grasped the end of the hoodie pulling it over my head. I shivered at the sudden change of temperature and ran towards the heating vent on the floor.
