Sad to say...but Season One of Lalin's Curse (Felix X Reader) has come to an end. I hope you enjoy this last chapter!
Season One Finale
~Bad Luck~Twenty minutes after such a long day felt like forever, but eventually, David emerged from the back and we squeezed into Rafael's car. It was cramped with the four of us and only three seats. I lowered my voice to whisper to David. "So what happened? What about the demon?"
David looked to the front of the car, chewing at a hangnail. "I'll tell you later."
Pulling up at the police station, our parents were all happy to see us. David's mom rushed to his side as soon as he stepped out of the car. Felix and I smiled, filled to the brim with pride, and strode under the setting sun to our father's.
"Nice to see you, David." My dad ruffled his hair and turned back to Felix and I. "Is that-" He pointed to Felix's jacket.
"Oh my god! Stop!" I groaned, stepping behind Felix but he was equally embarrassed, his face turning red as he gazed up at the sky.
Mr. Dorado laughed his hearty laugh and threw an arm around his son. My dad joined in, bringing the four of us into another group hug.
After that David, Felix, Tobi, and I hugged it out, much to Felix's dismay. We all headed towards separate cars. "Meet me at David's later?" Felix proposed.
"Sure." I glanced back at my dad as he waved goodbye to Mr. Dorado and motioned for me to hurry up. "Oh, yeah!" I pulled my arm halfway out of Felix's jacket sleeve.
"No!" He grabbed my gauze wrapped arm. "You can give it back to me at David's." I smiled. "Oh..." He mumbled, dropping my arm, and rubbed his neck. "And I hope your arm is okay."
Grabbing him by the collar of his tee I pulled him down to my level pressing a kiss against one of the many beauty marks dotting his face. "Thanks," I whispered, releasing him.
A blushing stuttering mess, all he could muster was a thumbs up and wave as he clambered over to the passenger side of his father's car. I broke into a grin, my face equally as warm. "(Y/N)!" My dad pulled up next to me honking the horn. "Your rides leaving." Climbing into the passenger seat, I held my gauzed arm against my thumping chest. "Smooth." He winked, pulling out of the parking lot and heading towards the hospital.
Heat crawled up my neck. "You saw that?!"
"Yep. Glad to know my daughters as much of a catch as me." My dad beamed.
"Hardy har." I deadpanned unwrapping the gauze on my arm.
Twisting the key in the ignition, my dad shut off the car and reached over to help me. "Felix is a nice boy."
"Yeah, you've expressed that multiple times," I muttered after I'd ripped the duct tape off my arm and discarded it on the car's floor.
My dad sighed blissfully, falling back against his seat. "Reminds me of my high school days."
"Dad?" I placed my hand on the door handle curios of something I'd never asked before. "What was mom like in high school?"
Turns out not treating a broken bone immediately, isn't good for you...who would've thought? Luckily, my splint had saved my wrist bone from shattering and it would heal over time. The whole time the doctor x-rayed me and helped me pick out the right size brace for my wrist, I was worried about the bill for this. My dad had already missed work, and I'd gotten myself into this whole mess.
"There you go." The nice doctor smiled after velcroing the last strap on my brace. I thanked him and hopped off the plastic bed.
"Do I pay at the front desk?" My dad stopped halfway out the door.
