Growing up, I never got to see love. I would watch soap operas with my siblings and wonder why only white folks and some Filipinos knew how to treat a woman. I grew a constant need to be desired by a man with utmost display of affection. Nobody is perfect, and soaps are just that, soaps....I KNOW! But my craving for wanting to be loved grew over the years and I couldn't find me my man.

In my second year in campus though, I did manage to grab someone's attention. You read that right! Someone somewhere was drooling over me! According to him, he would stand outside the campus entrance every evening checking me out. He got the confidence finally when he got my number.

I know you're wondering how that happened without me noticing him, but i will break it for you because i need your insight. And because I want to see if your judgy self is good at your job ...or not.

I had a technical issue with my laptop and was directed to get it 'fixed' at the IT office in our town campus. My laptop wasn't broken, i just didn't know how to configure anything, not even keying the WiFi password. I am not dumb, I see you judging already, but I will allow you to go with that... for now.

Being a part time student, I was forced to become an adult at a very young age. I had responsibilities to take care of and was stuck with older people in class, the youngest were in their early thirties, so that was very frustrating.I had heard the women in my class complement the IT guy, saying how cute and hands on he was and i had to see that for myself. That's when my laptop and I agreed that it was 'broken' and needed fixing. Now that you're up to speed, let's move on.

I went to the I.T office and found a long queue of students, ladies to be specific, waiting to be served. That made me more curious and i wanted to see the I.T guy that was getting all this attention. I was not about to queue and none of the other students had a laptop on them, so i just skipped it and went straight in without knocking.

The guy was busy helping another student but my rude entrance made everyone look up. I sulked. He was not cute...my version of cuteness did not match with his facial features. I was very disappointed. Needless to say, I was already in the office and couldn't just leave. The other students looked angry but the guy seemed not to mind.
