Crash, scream, fight. Yet, he managed to sleep though all of this like a rock at 10 in the morning. It's no wonder though, for a start, he was probably used to this. But for the most part, he had been awake the whole night.

I don't know why, Josh and awake weren't words that usually correlated. I had came here around half an hour ago, knocked on the door and the Franceschi servant told me that he had been up all night and that she wasn't sure if he was still awake or not. I asked why, my curiosity getting the better of me. To be honest, I was worried. The last time Josh pulled an all nighter was when he was around ten years old. Usually, sleep was the third thing on his mind. Anyway, Miss Lee, the servant, told me that the only thing he had said to her was asking her to get him a screw, then he asked for me. Admittedly, that only sparked more curiosity in me. However, she had told me that it was a secret what he said to her. I really wanted to know.

I looked at Josh, who was on his bed, wrapped around in bedsheets. I smiled, sitting on his carpet floor, staring at him. It wasn't weird, I mean, it's not like I was just a guest. I practically lived here. I was here more than I was at my own house, which was much preferred.

I had just stared at Josh for the longest time. I didn't wake him, he deserved to rest. I noticed his dark circles when I first looked at his face. Besides, there was something calm about watching him sleep. It wasn't strange at all, I know he did the same thing with me because he casually mentioned how I looked when I slept sometimes. That's what I love about him, he isn't afraid to just say or do what he wants.

I payed close attention to his face. He definitely looked tired. His messy brown hair was everywhere, especially all over his face. His lips were parted ever so slightly as his cheek squished from laying on the pillow. I sighed with a smile, pushing his hair out of his face. He looked so handsome while he slept. Peaceful, too.

I looked around the room, looking for signs that he could've been doing something during the night. Nothing. His room was always messy, but nothing had changed since I was here the other day. It was really noisy downstairs, but it was just like that sometimes here. I mean, they were a big murderous family after all. That's what the noise was downstairs, the random people screaming gave it away. Josh could sleep through anything though.

Something I noticed that was different while looking around was this random DVD case in the middle of the floor. Curiously, I crawled over to pick it up. It was probably from Josh's DVD collection, I didn't know why it was on the floor though.

'Mechanics 101' huh. It looked like one of those DVDs you would watch in wood tech. For some reason, it had pieces of multicoloured paper all over it, like Josh was playing with paper and dropped it on it. I didn't bother opening the DVD case, and instead placed it back with Josh's DVD stack.

"Thanks for cleaning up for me."

I almost got the biggest heart attack.

I turned around to see Josh chuckling with half-lidded eyes. My own eyes widened. What is it with him scaring me these past few days? But, he's cute, so I'd forgive him.

"And for covering me up." His lips widened into a smile, and he rubbed his miraculous blue eyes. He looked stunning. Was he pretending to be sleeping? "That's what I love about you, your caring and nurturing personality."

"Wha- huh?" I crawled back over to him so that I was face-to-face with him again. "Were you pretending to be asleep?" If he was, then my gosh. He really is sneaky.

"Nope, not at all," He still sounded tired when he spoke, and I had to admit it, but he sounded quite attractive. I'm guessing he really wasn't pretending. "I could just sense that you moved away from my presence." He tiredly shrugged and sat up. "I can sense when you're near me, you know."
