from what max had expierienced, these feelings are confusing and hard for her to get. whenever her parents talker about boyfriends she'd gross out, or they watched a movie on tv and a couple kissed she'd look away. she didn't feel comfortable thinking about romantic stuff. maybe it's because she never really fell in love before. it was all bullshit and fantasy for her. nothing would last forever.
these heartbreak series were really coming for her after meeting el. she kind of hoped it'd be a slowburn kind of story eventually, but days got by and she still hadn't left. she didn't think about it either. she had so much fun with this girl she met and it wasn't even boring there at all.
even if el had these weird habits.
,,okay so let me get this straight - you do NOT have a phone?!" max said, clearly in shock.
,,nope! i also don't really see the appeal of having one. so many things are remaining unseen because of those stupid things. the world is a beautiful place but phones keep people from actually looking up to it." el said.
,,but you never leave your house," max started. ,,then how do you get the, i don't know, basically all the things you need to survive?"
,,my father sends new products weekly. i don't know where he is sometimes but sometimes i get a letter or a note slipped between the bananas or bread."
this all basically meant that max wasn't able to post her vlogs or update her instagram for as long as she'd be here, and since el had no idea where in hawkins she lived, it'd be forever.
