The Crying List

It all started when my mom got fired from her awesome job as a fiesty news reporter. She had just made enough money to pay the struggling bills. Oh please forgive me, I'm Alexa (short for Alexandra). I am an 11 year old rich gal who is spoiled. I get everything I want; from IPhones to Lebrons. My dad is a book publisher and my sassy, and totally annoying little sister "Katy" is the most annoying 1st grader I know. I am in 5th grade about to start Middle school. So where was I, oh yeah so my mom got fired and it was the worst news ever. I was on the bus sitting with the coolest person I know "Lily." Me and Lily have been friends since preschool. So we were sitting on the bus when I see a mountain of coffee brown boxes sitting outside on our fresh cut lawn. I was wondering what happened, Lily and I did our famous handshake,the funky slide, and hopped off the stinky yellow bus. When I stepped though the golden doors of my house I saw my mom crying
and that's when she said we needed to talk.

My mom got fired and we had to move from our achieving and bright Floridian home, to the cold state of Alaska. This was horrible.

I ran upstairs and flung open my bright pink door and jumped on my warm sheets and cried.

I don't know how long I was crying, but when I stopped. I looked at my silver IPhone 6 and saw that it was 7:00 pm.

Quickly I took my lime green jansport book bag and took out my homework. Luckily all I had to do was a history paper.

I took out the crumpled history paper and quickly finished it.

I texted Lily the bad news and then I burst out crying.
After another 30 minutes of crying I washed off my face and took a warm bath. Then I noticed I skipped dinner so I quickly ran downstairs to take some left over Chinese food when little bratty Katy showed up. She was still wearing her school clothes and her room was halfway packed with boxes.
