Happy Valentines Day!
Just wanted to put in a little something something short thingy to celebrate and get yall in the valentines mood :3

There's not much romance but there are some cute stuff and a little bit of revelations...

Umi's eyes lazily opened as the morning sun shine through her curtains. It was the first time in a while that she got to sleep in, so she was cherishing every moment withing her warm bed.

"Umi! Are you up yet?" Hyde called from down the hall. He had just reached her half ajared door when a muffle came from the bundle of sheets on the bed.

The blue-haired boy smiled. Since it was a holiday, he decided to leave the teen sleep in instead of training in the early morn. Valentines Day wasn't exactly a holiday but he thought that the two of them deserved a small break from everything.

Hyde walked over to the edge of the bed. The sun was high enough in the sky and he decided that it was time to get up for the day. So, without warning, he spread out his arms and let himself fall forward onto the small bed, on top of a snoozing Umiko.

Umi let out a yelp as the sudden weight came down on top of her.

"What are you doing?!"

"Good morning my dearest friend!" the blue-haired boy grinned up at her.  "Happy Valentines Day!"

Umi sighed. "Yeah you too. Can you get off now?"

Hyde giggled and got up with a stretch of his arms. "I'm leaving soon for work, do you want to come along?"

"Yeah sure, it's not like I have anything else planned for the day." This sentence caused the male to smirk.

"Oh? No certain boy to spend Valentines with?" he began poking at her cheek once she sat up on the bed.

"What are talking about? And who said that I'd like to spend my time with a boy?" she asked with a glare, taking Hyde by surprise.

"W-Wait! Are you-?" he stuttered.

With a roll of her eyes Umi sat up and made her way to her drawer set. "Why should I tell you? Who are you to go about my business? Now get out, I need to change."

Hyde rolled his eyes and left the girl to get dressed. It was about fifteen minutes later when Umi emerged from her room in her regular clothes, though her hair was done up nicely in a braided half ponytail. Her twin daggers were still strapped to her back.

"You ready?" Hyde asked getting up from the kitchen table. Umiko nodded and with that they began their way to Castle Town.

The town was in an uproar with celebrations. Little pink flags hung above their heads in the streets and chocolates and roses littered the shops. Umi sighed disgusted.

"I never knew this world took Valentines so seriously..." she mumbled as the two entered the blacksmiths.

"Ah, it's good to see you two." Erhard greeted from behind the counter. Naofumi and Raphtalia turned around and greeted also.

"Raphtalia, it's so good to see you again! My, how you've grown." Umi cheered about the demi-human, like an auntie seeing her favourite niece.

Naofumi rolled his eyes. He still found it strange how Umi is often seen as a threatening and person but once she sees something cute, it all melts away.

"Hello Ms. Umiko." the young girl shied. She and Umi were the same height but still she was treated as a child.

"Please! You make it sound like I'm an old woman, just call me Umi." the purple-eyed girl insisted then turned to the master of the demi-human.
