"Why would you say that to her?! She wasn't ready to face him!"
"If she wasn't ready she shouldn't have gone then! How is that my problem?"
"Dazai instructed us to help her do this herself, now she'll think she has something to prove."
"Doesn't she? You think she came back for any of you? You should have seen her in Anne's room. She couldn't take being held back. She's trying to accept too many things at once!"
They're talking about you.
They think you're weak...and that's only Atsushi and Lucy...how about the others? What will they think?
"Seeing him almost killed her."
How many times have they had to rescue you? They're probably getting tired of the burden you are.
They were probably happier when you were caged up under the Port Mafia.
"What's killing her is how long your doctor is taking to get here! Are you sure Kyouka was the best choice to get her?"
"Kyouka doesn't fail."
They want to keep you in those chains.
Wake up and you'll see...
Wake up.
Wake up!
You gasp for air as your eyes open up wide, frantically looking around the room. Your heart is accelerated with panic and adrenaline, your arms and legs trying to move, to feel where you were because you couldn't see anything. Everything is dark. However, the more you try to move, the more you realize you can't.
So you start yelling.
"Let me go!! Let me go!!"
They won't hear you. They want you to stay in the darkness. You belong down there...see where trying to do better gets you?
"LET ME GO!"
"Atsushi turn on the lights you idiot!"
"I didn't exactly want the people around to see you carrying a bloodied body."
"[f/n]! [f/n]! You're fine! It's ok, you're with me." Atsushi runs to your side after turning the lights on, and as soon as he does you flinch, your writhing not stopping as you stare at him with horror.
Don't fall for their lies.
"Let me go!"
"Stop moving or your bleeding will only get worse!" Atsushi begs, looking at you with severe distress when you haven't calmed down as he expected you would.
"We tied you up so you wouldn't accidentally harm yourself if you did wake up, you aren't trapped. Please [f/n]! You'll die!"
You can feel yourself sweating with your breathing heavy, Atsushi's words blending in with the ringing of white noise now surrounding you, tears flowing down your face.
Akutagawa didn't want you.
Now you're caged in like an animal again.
