"You killed me!" I woke up at his yell as I gasps and look at him, he was setting up on his bed breathing heavily, dot sweat was on his forehead as he look at me with his widen bright brown eyes, the sun was shining through his curtain which means it's morning already "how could you kill me with such ice cold heart?! Even if it was just a dream!" he complain, now I know that he had a nightmare
"I did a wonderful job then" I clap to myself
"Hell no! You even shoot me on my shoulder before you kill me" I roll my eyes, he could be so dramatic at times
"Are you okay?" I changed the subject
"No my shoulder still hurt" he rub his shoulder, I got up and kissed it
"Now it will get better" I smile at him, he look at me in a way I couldn't quite read it and before I think more of it he said
"Here too" he point to his lips, I glares at him "to get better you know cause it hurt too" I roll my eyes
"Nope you're all good" I force a smile
"Wait did you sleep the night on the sofa?" he smirk as I look where he's looking at, oh god, I fell asleep on the sofa
"No" I lied
"You did! You worried about me so much huh" I swallow as I got up while walking toward the door to make an escape from him, he gonna held it against me till god knows when
"I just fell asleep, I didn't worry about you" I trail off, I'm not good at lying at all. Just when I was gonna twist the knob I heard pattie's voice
"Justin!" She sang as the door swing open while I went back with it, my heart sink as she walk toward him while the wall against my back and the door right in front of me "how's my baby boy" justin chuckle nervously looking at her
"I'm good mom" he replay
"That's great. Today you and Ashley are going on a date" she set on the bed edge, justin look at me as I shake my head while glaring at him, he swallow and look at his mom
"Mom I can't i-"
"You're going and that's final" she said angrily "her parents will come to eat dinner with us. Where's Marie I need her to cook the dinner for us, that girl can cook perfectly" justin look at me as I shake my head and mention to him that I'll kill him if he agrees so his eyes grew wide and he shake his head as he look at her
"No mom. She can't" I node my head, good "She can" he chuckle nervously looking back at her
"What" she confuse while he look at me and I shook my head
"She can't" I node, god he's an idiot, he look back at her "I can" I shake my head, omg he's more than idiot, he look at his mom again "she can but I can't" I shook my head harder while pressing my lips together as he chuckle nervously more than ever as he look at her
"What are you saying? You can, she can't, she can't, you can"
"We can't I mean, she can't cook. I can't go out. So we can't" he explain dumbly, finally. Now where's his endless act up and lies when we need it the most
"What are you talking about justin? Did your fever effect your brain cells" his mom cross her arms
"Mom I can't go on a date with that Ashley girl I have plans with my friends-"
"Your called friends again!" she said angrily "Justin you're going on that date either you like it or not. You're not canceling the date for your dumb friends of yours! Got it" justin swallow hard
"Okay just please don't let Marie cook, she might wanna go out or something-"
"We need her to cook justin no one can cook better than her"
"You have Paul. He's a french chef mom"
"I'll see Teresa and ask her about Marie" his mom got up as I hide behind the door while she walk out and shut the door behind her, we sigh in relief as he throw his head back, I cross my arms as he look at me annoyed
"Well you're dumb okay it's not my fault"
"Look Selena I'll go to that date and back early. I won't touch her or whatsoever, I'm only doing this for my mom-"
"I don't care. Do whatever you want, I have a date anyways" I play with my hair as he raise his eyebrows
"What date? With who? You can't go on dates Selena you're married to me okay" he said angrily
"Since you're going on a date yourself, you have no right to not let me go on a date too"
"Selena who is he? Are you joking right now? I'll seriously beat him-"
"You can't touch him got it" I said glaring at him but he didn't get scared, he was mad, so mad
"Selena you're not going, you're my wife and that's final"
"You're going on a date with another girl so don't even play the royal husband part" I roll my eyes "and don't let that girl eat whatever I'll cook" I walk to the door "got it" I glares at him as he take a deep breath "don't let her eat what I cook, justin. I've warned you" I said after I open the door and peek at the hallway, it's empty. I smirk at justin as I shut the door then walk away just then tears escape my eyes, I can't believe that he's actually going on a date with another girl while we're married I mean okay I'd take whatever but his mom would make him marry that girl if he didn't man up soon and tell her about us. I don't want this life! I don't wanna love him, why do I even love him this much? I'm so stupid.
I went to the kitchen and take out an onion and put it on a plate as I start cutting it while crying more, I took a napkin and clean my fingers then pull out my phone as I dialed his number, it didn't take long till he pick up
"Marie?"
"Yea, hey Dylan"
"Hey. Are you okay?"
"Yea I'm fine" I sniffle "can we go to the movies tonight?"
"Yea sure. I'll pick you up at seven"
"Alright. I'll see you then"
"Okay. Bye"
"Bye" I hang up and put my phone on aside. I should finish this stupid dinner and get ready to go out, I won't let myself do anything stupid like what I've done to justin yesterday, I almost killed him and I don't wanna repeat the same mistake, I was mad..so now I won't let my anger get the best of me. My phone ring again so I pull it up to see it was my mom, I smile at it and answer it immediately
"Hey mom"
"Hey meha. How are you?"
"I'm good. I missed you"
"I missed you too sweetie but I feel like we will see each other before you know it"
"Huh?" I confuse, she let out a smile
"Don't worry nothing bad. How's your husband"
"He's" I shake my head at the idea of his stupid date with that Ashley girl of his "he's good. How's uncle Brian"
"He's good. He says hi"
"Tell him that I said hi too"
"Okay, I'll see you soon"
"Mom, What are you talking about?" she chuckle
"I gotta go meha. Bye"
"B-" before I say anything els she hang up, I took a deep breath in and out, I have to finish this dinner so I have time to get ready before Dylan be here.
