Ever since that sleepover two days ago Selena have been angry at me, Ashley gave me a car yesterday as a gift which added more flame between us now she's ignoring me, my texts, my calls, my whole existence, like if someone give you a gift you should accept it right? So what's the problem, I've been over the moon with the car but Selena glares won't let me enjoy it so I've had about enough and went near the restaurant waiting for Selena to go out so I speak to her away from Mandy, her mom haven't spoken to me ever since Selena and I almost filed for a divorce but thankfully we went bankrupt everything settled for a while until that stupid sleepover and now the car so I need to speak to her to know what's on her mind, she finally got out of the restaurant and went down the road, I took a deep breath and followed her
"Selena" I called out but that made her walk faster, so I jogged a bit and grab her by her waist "okay, let's talk, enough with avoiding me" she glares at me
"You're so cheap I don't even wanna see you" I took a deep breath, she's angry and if i got angry stuff will fall down and I don't need that "why don't you just marry her and skip the whole poor life you're so sick and tired of" she tried to untangle my hand from her wrist "let go of me"
"Selena, do you have an idea of how much I'm sick and tired of trying to adjust to being poor, maybe this is normal to you but all my life I've got everything I wanted and now I can't even throw a box cause we might need it at night"
"Well with a tip you could be played with"
"What do you want me to do? Return the car?"
"How are you gonna afford the gas huh?" I haven't thought about it "you don't even think a day ahead, she will keep on giving you and you're married to me but she loves you too and she will keep giving you, she don't even know that you're married to me and you don't have the gut to tell her"
"Selena. My parents know, your parents know and the rest are not important to me"
"It's important when someone tries to marry you and give you a whole new life"
"It's just a car? It's just a car, it's just money it's just stuff that you can't have anymore" I exhale deeply "it's just a car for you but can't you see Justin? She loves you, she will give you everything so you should let her know that you're married unless you want to use her which is wrong. You shouldn't use her love and wealth to get what you want" she managed to remove my hand "if you want to use her I don't want to be in your life, you can have her but you can't have me and treat others to satisfy your needs, especially her" she had this look in her eyes and I couldn't take it, it's like she's about to cry
"I'm sorry. I didn't think it through" I admit
"I know it's hard and I know it's difficult but try to adjust if you need anything work for it, save your money for what you want and use what you have to support your family. Don't let someone just give you money to live off with because it will effect you at the end" she was gonna walk away
"Alright" i grab her arm making her turn and fell into my arms
"Uh" she gasps
"I'm sorry" I whisper "I might be in the most difficult situation in my whole life right now but if I have you I think I can pull through" I pulled her closer "do you think you can stay with me" she took a deep breath before hugging me
"You'll be lost otherwise" I could tell that she rolled her eyes which made me let out a laugh
"I know right" I kissed her forehead "thank you for guiding me and not dumping me"
"You do know that I could've just dump you and not bother with but what can I say? I'm a keeper" that made me laugh
"You're so full of yourself now aren't you"
"Yep. And just so you know this is the last warning for you, next time I won't budge" she leaned back "so what are you gonna do with the car?" I see a pop quiz
"I'm keeping it it's Mercedes-" she pushed me but i held her tighter "I'm kidding calm down. I'll return it and I'll tell her that I'm married" she glare at me "I know I'll do it for real. Alright? Plus I need your mom blessing again because she's still mad at me"
"Right"
"I'll talk to her once my mom recovers from her shock"
"Is it so bad?"
"Yea. At first as you know she didn't want to sit at home then she wanted to divorce my dad now she thinks that we're still rich. That's how she's coping for now"
"Oh" she look down
"She just need time. That's what her doctor said. She's through few stages but she will come around"
"Well. If you need anything-"
"I have you" I pinch her nose "i'll manage" she smile at me "but I need your help with another matter"
"What's it"
"Come with me".

We went to Ashley's house with the car she gave me
"And you're planning to escape with Jason?"
"Yep" We got out
"And what am I doing here?"
"In case he went nut you're my shield" she roll her eyes
"I didn't come here to return the car and leave"
"Then?" I took a deep breath
"Once Jason comes get in the car and wait for me, I'll come"
"Do you want me to come with you?"
"No. You came all this way already. I can handle the rest" she nodded as she press her lips together, I kissed her cheek "I'll return, sit in the car if you want" she smile as she shook her head
"I'm good" I nodded and went to the front door, I'm so scared from jeff but I really have to do this for her, she have waited patiently all this time and I shouldn't make excuses, I knocked the door three times then took a deep breath, he opened the door and raised his eyebrow, I swallow feeling myself drown
"I didn't know that you'll come, are you enjoying your car now?"
"Uh, mr. benson, I need to talk to you alone" my voice almost broke but manage to come out in one piece
"Alright" he pointed at the front yard seating area so we sat down there "so" I took a deep breath
"I want to apologize for lying to you and your family... and my family too"
"What did you lie about to us" my heart was pounding
"I didn't tell my parents that I met a girl back in Texas and got married there" he glare at me but I have to be honest "I hurt her along the way she didn't know that my parents didn't know" I swallow "it got complicated a lot when mom decided to get me to marry your daughter" i start playing with my fingers "so I can't marry your daughter because I love the girl that I got married to, I was careless and stupid for acting on my own, I hurt a lot of people and I don't want to play this game that's not a game to begin with so I'll take full responsibility of my doings" I look at him he sure was raging but he held back well "I didn't mean to get your family involved but it did, so I'm returning the car and I can talk with Ashley about it to cancel off everything" he took a deep breath as he stood up and exhale heavily, I look down feeling really ashamed of how big this situation has become
"I'm very disappointed in you. But considering that you've talked before anything become official" he turn around to look at me or burn me with his anger, I swallow hard "I don't want to see you anywhere near my family especially my daughter. I swear if I saw you in the corner of my eyes you'll regret to ever be born" he said under his breath "be thankful that my daughter is very fond of you otherwise I'd love to bury you in this very garden" I nodded
"I'm sorry" I got up "goodbye sir" I nodded to him before dashing off.
