There was a time when I was in love with Josette.

She became to Collinsport from France in 1783. When she swallowed the crashing waves over Widow's Hill, I wanted to make things right for her; I wanted her to know she was wanted. But, because the fishing villagers weren't used to a foreign woman of means such pain forced me to build the Mansion, where we, with our family, could live in peace.

Because, in the face of trouble, I implored them not to hurt her.

And, twelve years' later, in 1795, she fell to her death off the Widow's Hill cliffs. And, thus, her suicide was the final straw after I met Angelique, a vampire whose desire for me ruined my life, as her sharp fangs bit into my neck and feed on my blood. And turned me into the Undead.

I was born in 1742.

By the time my parents, Joshua Collins, and my Mother, Naomi Collins, vowed to take care of me, they studied in their minds, a peaceful end to the villagers' concerns in Collinsport; they studied the cliffs, and the empty nothiness which both of them felt.

In short, Joshua Collins was heard to utter:

"This land shall be inherited by us; this land shall be Collins' lands. Our lands. And, thus, everyone will leave us alone".

And, ten years' later, in 1752, the house was finished.

And, in the end, birthed the legend of the Vampires of Collinsport.
