Chapter 42

Eden POV

I was laying in bed writing a new song when Tanner texted saying to come let him in.

I was confused so called him.

"Hey where are you?"

"I'm outside but it's late and the doors are locked. Actually don't let me in come outside I have somebody who wants to see you."

"So you don't want to see me?"

"Yes my love I always want to be with you but just come outside we will explain everything. Bring your stuff too you're coming back with me."

"Tanner what's going on you're scaring me."

I heard Aiden's voice in the background. He sounded so sad and so hurt.

"Tell her to hurry the fuck up we can't stay here."

"You're with Aiden? Why?"

"Babe please I can't answer any of that right now but we need to go so come on. I love you but hurry."

He sounded scared and I knew something was wrong. I grab some clothes, my phone and charger, make up, and my music. Shoved it all into a bag and was out the door. I got outside to see Tanner run up to me hug me tight and kiss the top of my head.

He took my stuff and sprinted to the car. Mason got out of the front seat and slid into the back. He didn't look up or say a word. Aiden started to cry when he saw me. I got in the front seat with my twin.

"Okay does somebody want to tell me what's going on."

Mason yelled "Dad arrested me and Aiden and we all sorta ran away. "

"Dad did what now?"

I look at Aiden and he takes a deep breath and wipes at the tears.

"Long story short all of us got into some sort of trouble tonight. There isn't a single person in this car with the exception of you who didn't get spanked and grounded tonight. Dad was laying into me pretty bad when Grayson came in and threw dad against the wall and threatened him. So dad left and we thought it was the end of it. Next thing we know dad is jerking Gray out of my bed shoving a bag in his hand and throwing him out of the house. I get placed under arrest for theft and illegal use of a state ID. He then decides he's going to arrest Mason again for his little five finger discount he attempted this morning. He thinks Tanner is on something and wanted to search him but Tanner rambled off some legal lawyer stuff and dad backed off. Mom and Dad got into it she had him uncuff us and told us all to get out and as we were leaving she asked for a divorce."

There is so much to process. Dad lost his damn mind,  Tanner must have taken something or else dad wouldn't have assumed. Did Aiden say everyone got spanked. Tanner got spanked oh my God no.

"Grayson you son of a bitch you let dad put hands on Tanner. How could you."

"Babe calm down its not his fault or his doings. Your dad didn't want to do it either. Gray tried his best to talk me down."

"Are you okay.  What did he do to you?"

"I'm fine and I don't want to talk about it here if that's okay."

"Are you on something? Dad isn't one to assume things he always has a reason."

"Me and you will talk later alone about everything. Now isn't the time."

Aiden POV

"Everyone quiet mom is calling."

I pick up the phone "Mom is everything okay? Why are you crying? Mom?"
