Chapter 16 The Shrine of Resurrection

"SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!!!" Xene yelled eager to know, Shupavu looked at Xene and walked closer to him and whispered who they were bringing back and Xene backed up in shock. "Would we be able to even control it?" Xene questioned, Shupavu smiled evilly, "Don't worry Scar assured it" Shuapvu explained as she contiued to move the rocks in a certain pattern and Xene helped reluctantly.

Kion, Fuli, Bunga, Beshte, and Ono, followed Ullu as they were approaching the area the green light shot out. "Come on Lion Guard were almost there!" Ullu called, the Lion Guard ran faster and Kion looked at Fuli. "Fuli get there fast and see what's going on" Kion ordered, Fuli noded, "Huwezi!" Fuli called before running faster running past everyone.

Fuli ran to the top of the hill and when she got to the top she froze in confusion and shock, "What in the pride lands" Fuli stated seeing Makini panicking and Rani and Y/N fighting and a big structure shooting the green beam. Fuli ran down the hill getting to Makini, "OH! Thank goodness your here" Makini calmed seeing Fuli.

"Makini what is going on?" Fuli asked, Makini looked at Fuli, "Long story short, we lost Y/N and we went to find her then she...she...she" Makini stuttered panicking. Fuli put her paw on Makini shoulder, "Shawari Makini" Fuli tried to calm her. Makini paused and breathed in and then out, "Shwari" Makini told herself.

"After this structure rose and shot out the green beam, Y/N then attacked Rani and she said there is only Scar" Makini explained more calm but still tense. "SCAR!" Fuli gasped turning seeing Rani bleeding from the eye blocking Y/N. Fuli quickly ran to Y/N, "Sorry" Fuli whispered to herself before kicking Y/N away sending her into a rock. Fuli bent down to Rani, "You okay?" Fuli asked helping her up, "I'm just glad you're here now" Rani grunted.

Fuli ears twitched hearing running and she shoved Rani away and turned quickly blocking Y/N attack. As Fuli blocked Makini ran to Rani checking her eye, "Hang on Rani let me see how bad it is" Makini warned. Rani grunted in pain as Makini was doing her check-up, over the hill Ullu flew in circles as the Lion Guard ran down the hill getting to Rani and Makini. "Rani! What happened?" Kion asked.

Rani looked at Kion, "Just a scratch" Rani tried to say before grunting again, Bunga's eyes widened seeing Fuli and Y/N. "Uh Kion" Bunga poked Kion, Kion looked where Bunga was pointing and his heart dropped seeing it. Kion quickly ran to join Fuli, "Y/N STOP!!!" Kion shouted jumping in front, but Y/N proceeded and hit Kion in the side of the head. "KION!!!" The Lion Guard called.

Kion got up, "I'm fine" Kion grunted but Ono looked at Kion, "Kion you're bleeding" Ono pointed out. Kion placed his paw on the side of his head and looked back at his paw seeing blood, Y/N looked at Kion. "Kion," Y/N said softly worried before she looked down shaking her head and proceeded to laugh evilly. 

"That's not Y/N" Bunga pointed out, Fuli looked at the guard, "It's not, Scar is taking control" Fuli explained. "SCAR!!!" The Guard exclaimed, Y/N laughed evilly, "Yes, you thought you could defeat me that easily" Scar exclaimed evilly. Kion stood tall looking at Scar, "We defeated you before, we will do it again" Kion stated.

Scar laughed evilly, "Oh Kion, this time is different, I have more assets that will help me WIN!!!" Scar yelled. "Yeah a binturong, komodo dragon, and two leopards, don't say much" Bunga pointed out, Scar looked at Bunga. "Oh honey badger, I have more friends than them why do you think I activated the shrine of resurrection" Scar revealed.

"THE SHRINE OF RESURRECTION!!!" Makini gasped, everyone looked at Makini, "Yes, young one you are right" Scar acknowledged. Beshte looked at Makini, "Makini what can Scar do with the shrine?" Behste asked. "Rafiki mentioned if the alignment is correct Scar could bring back the...." Makini was about to say before the ground shook and the beam grew bigger.

Xene backed up as he saw all the rocks glow and symbols all around them grow, "SHUPAVU WHAT'S HAPPENING!!!" Xene shouted. "VICTORY!!!" Shupavu yelled back as the ground shook violently.

Kion and the Lion Guard looked at the structure and saw animals coming out, "NO!" The Guard called not believing this. "How is that possible?" Kion questioned, Scar laughed sinisterly, Ullu landed near Ono. "Ono, who are they?" Ullu asked worriedly. Ono looked at Ullu, "Scar just used the shrine to bring back...his...his..." Ono tried to say. "HIS WHAT!!!" Ullu shouted, "Lion Guard" Kion finished in complete shock.
