As Rani and the Lion Guard are huddled inside the Tree of Life, Scar and his guard are still trying to finish them off. As Kion sprit is lost he must journey with Askari and Raider to find his spirit and learn a new way to stop Scar and free Y/N. Luckily, the Night Pride along with the residents of the Tree of Life work fast to get to the Tree and buy time as Anga and Azaad race to the Pride Lands to get help. But as they do that Shuapvu and Xene are planning big to prevent Anga and Azaad from getting back into the Tree of Life.
Anga flew above as Azaad was running leading the way, "Hi Azaad! How long until we reach the Pride Lands?" Anga asked. Azaad contiued to run, "We have to get past the mountains and we have to follow the path down to the ravine and on the other side of the canyon, the backlands are there" Azaad called. Anga looked forward seeing the mountains, "Let's hope we can get there quick" Anga thought as they contiued.
Azaad ran as fast as he can, "I promise Fuli, I'll be back, I'll be back with help, and when the time is right, I'll tell you that I..." Azaad was thinking before getting cut off seeing the mountain pass. Anga landed down beside Azaad, "Ready?" Anga asked, "Ready" Azaad replied as they both entered the pass.
Meanwhile in the Pride Lands...
On Pride Rock Kiara was nuzzling Kovu as they watched some young lion cubs play outside, "Can you believe it?" Kiara asked. Kovu looked at Kiara and smiled, "What? the part where your dad accepted me and my sister and the other outsiders, or the fact he allowed us to date" Kovu asked. Kiara placed her paw on Kovu cheek and he blushed, "Both" Kiara answered as they both nuzzled.
Down below, Simba and Nala were watching the cubs and they looked up behind them and saw Kovu and Kiara nuzzling. "It's crazy to think how much can change in a matter of weeks" Nala stated. Nala saw Simba was looking out to the outlands and Nala walked to Simba and nuzzled him. "Simba, stop worrying they will be back" Nala reassured, Nala looked Simba, "I'm just worried Nala" Simba replied.
"Kion has the Lion Guard, he has Y/N" Nala reassured, Simba smirked and nuzzled with Nala, "But I do hope they return one day" Nala commented as the cubs were playing. Simba and Nala looked up and saw Jasiri, Janja, Mzingo, and Vitani coming.
Disclaimer: Vitani lion guard doesn't exist in my story becuase I don't like the idea of her own lion guard. (Please don't attack me)
"Defenders" Simba called, they paused and cringed, "Defenders?" Vitani questioned, Nala smiled, "The name can be fixed, anyway what brings you here?" Nala asked. "Just reporting in telling you we solved some problems between the gazelles and rhino's" Vitani explained. Simba and Nala smiled, "As King, I thank all of you in your brave duties as Kion and the Lion Guard are absent" Simba thanked.
"Don't mention it, just doing what Kion would want us to do" Jasiri replied smiling, Simba and Nala smiled as they were enjoying a beatiful day in the Pride Lands.
