First Battle

Y/N grinned when he heard he was facing Mario. From what he heard a fairly standard fighter and well balanced fighter. This should be interesting. You switched into your battle gear. It was fairly basic but a little revealing. This enabled easier mobility and more accurate throws thanks to its more open concept. You stretched and then headed into the arena.

As you walked towards the starting area you felt all eyes on you. You didn't know if they were from blushing girls or interested spectators because you couldn't care less. When you fought it brought so much joy and passion that you sometimes felt empty inside when you don't fight for a while. You were pumped as hell and ready to make a name for yourself.

You wished each other good luck and the match begun.

Y/N started the match by instantly throwing a knife at Mario. Mario flipped back and dodged it fairly easily as you weren't at a close enough range. You both played long ranged for a while, with you throwing knives and Mario using his fire balls. Eventually your lust for battle was too much and you sprang at him like a tiger too it's prey. Mario was barely able too dodge your attack. He watched it as it zoomed right passed his face. He couldn't react in time to block your second punch aimed right for his stomach

Mario regained his composure but your relentless attack was pushing Mario into a corner. But Mario wasn't gonna give up that easy. You may have had a more agile, muscular body but Mario has more experience. You knew that he would try to capitalize on something and made a plan to counterattack.

Your plan was right as Mario slipped into one of your punches Causing it to go past him as he put his fist in fire and went for a game ending punch. You smiled as you used your other and to strike his hand too the side. Mario has put his all into that punch so when it went passed it's target Mario stumbled forward and you quickly capitalized and won the battle.

You shook hands and left the ring. Everyone cheered as you felt proud in yourself. You won without stopping time

However there were a few suspicious eyes on you, suspecting you held back.

There were now 8 contestants left in the tournament. You sat down to take a breather as someone sat next to you. It was Robin, she had a triumphant smile on her face. You smiled and asked "What's with that smile?". She said "It's because I won of course, oh and I think I found out your secret." you turned around and asked "What is it then?" To which she replied "Teleportation. You wouldn't have the time to do it other wise".

You smiled as she had hinted at the true answer in her statement. "Nope. But I have a friend who can teleport." You said. "Your no fun" she said as she grumbled to herself. You stared at her, she looked adorable right now.

FIGHT 12 IS ABOUT TO COMMENCE.

"Well shoot gotta go!" You said as you ran off. This match would be difficult.
