Chapter 7 (Valentine's Day Special)

3 months later . . .

13 February 2024. 06:00pm
Natasha has just been discharged from the hospital and she has started packing up her stuff. Bruce will drive her to the facility. Others at the facility, including Clint, have planned on welcoming her in a very nice and simple way because that's how she likes it.

Bruce's POV:
I am supposed to go to the hospital and pick up Nat at 6:15pm. I am very happy and super nervous because I know that if she gets a chance, she WILL flirt with me, and then... probably kiss me, and that's what I'm scared of. Anyways, back to the story. I drove to the hospital and parked the car. I walk through the lobby and eventually came in front of the door to her cabin. I open the door to see Nat, still packing her back.

"Hi!" I said. "Oh hi!" she replied and without wasting a second she came and gave me a big hug and said, "Oh my god! I'm so excited to finally get out of this boring hospital." The next thing I knew was that she was acting like a total teenage girl because I don't really think that a 39 year old would never say that.

Natasha's POV:
"Hi!" I heard a voice behind me. I looked back and saw it was Bruce. I was so happy to see him because I was eagerly looking for a chance to flirt with him because, you know, that's who I am, a flirty one. "Oh hi!" I replied, came towards him and wrapped my arms around his neck and said "Oh my god! I'm so excited to finally get out of this boring hospital."
I think that sentence was a bit too childish but what's done is already done. Then I went back to finish packing my bag.

Now, the only things that were left to put inside the bag was a pile of clothes and my toothbrush. So, I started to act like a person who is very tired. I was breathing heavily and was trying catch Bruce's attention. "Are you okay?" Bruce asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Well, to be honest, I'm a little tired because I had to pack up everything and still a pile of clothes and the toothbrush is left." I replied (I'm so clever!!). After two seconds he said, "You know what? Sit down and drink some water while I the rest of the work." He is so caring. "No, it's fine. I can do it." I reply. He then drags me to the couch and makes me sit, then goes to finish packing my bag. That's when I tried to find a chance, and I failed.

After some time, when the packing was done, we headed out. Next, we were in the car, me sitting next to him. He started the engine. As he was driving, I noticed that his right was on the gear. And then I made my next move, I put my hand on his hand, which I think it was pretty romantic, though I tried to flirt him in the first place. I then thought to myself, "I think it would be better to stop wasting my time like this and start doing what I really want to do."

"Bruce?" I ask.

"Hmm" he replies.

"Can I share something with you?" I asked.

"Sure." he replied.

"Last night, I had a nightmare." I said.

"Are you still scared of nightmares?" he cut me out and said

"That's not the point. I saw everything that happened at Vormir." I continued.

"What?" he asked in surprise.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Don't worry. It's just a nightmare." he said that comforted me.

After some time we were there. He got out of the car, came around and opened the car door for me, which I think was pretty cute.

He then put his hands over my eyes. I couldn't see anything. We proceeded and then we stopped at a point. He then removed his hands from my eyes and...
"Welcome back Natasha!" everybody welcomed me. I was so surprised to see that everybody was here, waiting for me at the door with a huge banner that said "Welcome".

Sam and Rhodey were holding the banner,‌ Wanda was standing beside Sam and Thor was standing beside Rhodey. And then from out of nowhere, Clint came up to me and I could see tears forming in his eyes. I gave him a hug and I understood that he became speechless.

Next we all had a great time in the living room. I learned that Cap had gone to Peggy and that Tony had died. I also learned how Thanos had destroyed the facility and so they built another facility, and I was there. I told them about what happened in Vormir. After that we had dinner.

Everybody went to their room and me and Bruce just learned that we have to be together in a room. So we went to the room. I entered the room and just down on the bed as I was super exhausted. Bruce came and sat beside me, took my hand and asked me, "Are you okay? You don't look like you're okay." "I'm so exhausted." I replied. "I need to say something." he said. "What?" I asked. "Umm... I like to sleep without my shirt on so..." he said. "I'm fine with that." I replied.

So, we freshened up. I put on my night dress and I was nervous to go and actually spend the night beside Bruce. "It's gonna be okay, no need to worry." I said to myself. I then went inside the room and saw that Bruce was already asleep.

I went and lay down beside him, facing away from him so that I don't disturb him. After sometime I felt his arms wrapping around my waist. As his skin touched my waist, shivers went down my spine and I felt my cheeks heat up. Eventually, he pulled me towards him and we were in the 'spoon' position. And all I can say is that, I never felt so comfortable as today.

Guys, I'm back with some new Chapters and I'm so sorry for making you all wait for so long, because, well, I was having a writer's block. But now, my brain is full of new ideas and.... other stuff, so I'll try my best to publish Part 2 in the upcoming Thursday or Saturday. Anyways, I hope you liked this Chapter.
