We just hit 2500 reads!!! And so, this chapter for celebration. I wrote this chapter in, like, two hours, maybe, so this is not my best work. Very sorry about that. But don't worry, the big twist is very near so...

Anyway, ENJOY!!!

Natasha's POV:

"You guys could've had a make out session in your room rather than going outside in this storm. I mean, you two have the same room only for that."

I couldn't wish for anything else other than a cup of hot chocolate after the encounter with the stormy environment outside when Rhodey had to throw that in our faces.

You must be wondering why I was longing for some hot chocolate. Well, my car decided to stop right in front of the gate of the facility and it also decided to make us run a kilometer or so in the rain. So, we were dripping wet when Rhodey decided to annoy us a bit more.

I shot him a glare and went straight upstairs, into the bedroom and in the shower. I quickly took a warm shower and left the washroom for Bruce to clean up.

I sat on the bed and leaned against the headboard to take some rest since running a kilometer in the rain was not the best thing to do. Sometime later, I heard the washroom door open and realised Bruce was here, so I got to my point.

"Bruce, we need to talk." I sat upright and waited for him to come.

He sat down parallel to me, "Yeah?"

"We need different rooms. At least, different beds." I told him in serious tone.

"Am I really that fat?"

"What? No! I'm not talking about that."

"So?"

I let out sigh, "If we... like, stay on the same bed, you will end up in my dream again. I cannot let that happen."

"Are you crazy? I'm not... look, now that I know that the pain you're suffering from can be shared, I'm not going anywhere and I'm not letting you tolerate that much pain on your own."

"It would be wrong of me to pull you into this mess, okay?"

"I've been pulled already and you get me out."

"Bruce, please."

"No."

"Bruce, you're the best person I've ever met and I-- You deserve the pain of dying every night."

"You don't either. This is not your fight, this is our fight."

People say love is blind. Cartoon says love is deaf. Blind or deaf, love is the best thing that ever happened to me. And each word that came from Bruce made my heart flutter. I couldn't keep it inside and blurted out, "You know how cute you are sometimes?"

Soon, I felt his hand under my cheek, lifting my face upwards. My heart was telling me to just jump on him and keep kissing him throughout the known universe and until the end of time, but my brain was telling me to turn my face around and do it.

But do what?

Apparently, my body decided to obey my brain and do it. Guess what? It was telling me to...

*sneeze*

Yeah, I ruined it.

Bruce's POV:

Did she just sneeze?

"Are you okay?" I asked her as I pulled her up from her bent position.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said as she sniffed, "Sorry."

"For what exactly?"

"Sneezing at your face."

"Don't worry, you didn't sneeze at my face. You should be sorry for ruining the moment though."

"No, I shouldn't. It's my damn brain who should be sorry." She sniffed.

"I feel like you're gonna get a fever. You're temperature seems higher than usual." I put my hand on her forehead to check her temperature.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." She said with a smile.

"Get some sleep. You'll feel better in the morning." I said as I softly pushed her shoulders to lay her down.

Bruce and Natasha decided to share the pain among them and it actually helped. The pain was a little less brutal with two people. But one night, the nightmares turn into something else, something even worse...
