It's around ten in the morning and I decided to go for a grocery. I list down the needed things and the possible food I could reserve for the entire week. While I was picking in the dairy station,

"Roran!" I look around and saw Adam.

"Hey!" I simply said smiling, "How are you?" I asked and did a manly hug.

"I'm doing great, actually we're doing great. How about you and Arielle?" He asked that made me my guard off on how will answer him.

"I'm doing great too. About Arielle, she's…" I was about to answer when Chloe came,

"Hi!" Chloe said, "Nice to see you again, Roran!" She added.

"Oh! Nice to meet you too, Chloe!" I greeted,

"Are you with Arielle?" Chloe asked,

Now I'm trapped with this undesirable question. I try to think of how to answer it but I have no choice but to be honest,

"Arielle, is not with me." I answer. "Well! In fact she's with her parents in California." I added.

"Isn't she working on your company?" Adam asked.

"Of course, she's still working there but…" I want to be honest and true but I can't do it as of this moment, "She asked to leave for a week to spend time with her family." I added, lying.

"Oh! Family's first." Chloe said. "Oh! I think we should be going now." She added,

"Yea! Me as well." I simply said,

"It's nice bumping into you, Roran! Goodbye for now." Adam said and we waved goodbye to each other.

I took a deep sigh and slap my face with my palms to realize this was just the first one, what if anyone else would ask the same question and how will I answer that?

When I arrived home, I was surprised when I saw a very cute designed envelope then as I check it. It's a wedding invitation. I opened and saw that it was from Jana Hall, Arielle's sister. I manage to read the details and the wedding is happening by Thursday in the morning. This is a good timing, my chance to know what happened to Arielle after all this hidden stories from me or maybe I could catch a chance with Arielle on the wedding.

Later that day, i just finished cooking the chicken for lunch and I've decided to bring to the office so we can have some time together. I miss them. I took a shower then after grabbing some plain white shirt with a black blazer and a black pants, then my pair of black shoes. Luckily, I still have my other car the old version of BMW but still fancy cause I never use it everyday for work maybe it start this time. I took my keys and went off to office.

"Hi! Mr. Sanders!" Mr. Jones greeted.

"Here! Get this for your lunch, Mr. Jones." I said giving him the tupperware I spare for him.

"Wow! This is so kind of you, Mr. Sanders! Thank you so much!" He said and I walked upstairs.

"Good day!" I greeted as soon as I get into my office to catch all their attention.

"Hmmm… What's that intriguing smell?" Brenda said following me on my office.

"That's what I call lunch, Brenda." I simply said and wink at her.

"You seemed so different today." Brenda said, "Tell me you've seen Arielle?" She added.

"Brenda, I haven't seen Arielle for almost a month already, and besides if ever I'm going to see her or not there's nothing I should be changing with myself." I said.

"Yea! By the way, Jana came here earlier suspecting you in the office." She added.

"She came her?" I asked.

"Yes! But because your not around so she asked for your address so I gave her." Brenda added.

"Yea, because she wants to sent her invitation for me." I said.

"Invitation for what?" Brenda asked.

"For her wedding." I simply said,

"Oh!" Brenda simply said, "So your expecting to meet Arielle there for sure." She added.

"I'm still hoping we will meet, Brenda." I said.

We took the lunch and talk about stuff and laugh like we had before. The feeling of this is still there I just miss it.
