Chapter Eighteen

Going to the office and just like always my routines with papers and contracts. The company is still stable and progressing so far and Mr. Lambert, continues to support the company and also our other company partners. The company is celebrating it's fifth anniversary today, so ,

"Congratulations!" Mr. Lambert greeted as soon as he arrived at the hotel where the celebrating held.

"Thank you, Mr. Lambert, actually it's a congratulations to us." I added.

I didn't expect much invitees but to my surprise, I saw Maya and Arielle on the entrance, I don't know what to do,

"Is that Arielle?" Lana whispered beside me. "Why is she look so different." She added.

Maya saw my gaze and I just pretend I didn't notice them first,

"Because she just newly recovered." I answered Lana still whispering.

"Why are you whispering?" Lana said,

"Nothing!" I said when,

"Roran!" I turned and saw Maya and Arielle. "Congratulations!" Maya said.

"Thank you, Maya!" I said and she hugged me. "What is Arielle doing here?" I said and whisper.

"What's wrong, isn't she invited?" Maya answered whispering.

"I didn't say she's not invited. You know what I mean, she just recovered, right?" I added.

"Arielle, did you like to be here?" Maya asked Arielle.

"Yes!" Arielle said and smile. Like she's never been into coma before.

"Don't underestimate her." Maya whispered and smile.

Maya and Arielle sat on the visitor's table while I just follow a gaze at them.

"Arielle, is so different, didn't she recognized me?" Lana said slightly disappointed.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine not now but soon." I answered. "I know Lana, you miss her but that's it for now we need to help her recovered fully." I added,

The celebration started and I made a speech in behalf of the company,

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! I am so pleased to see you all gathered up on the fifth anniversary of Sanders Corporation…" I paused as they all cheered and applaud and I end up a stare at Arielle, "In behalf of my co-workers and everyone that supported this company, thank you so much. Along the years, we have encountered so many ups and downs to meet this progress but we remain strong to build up each other. I just want to be thankful and grateful to all of you. Good evening, and have a great night, everyone!" I ended the speech and they all cheered,

As the celebration went on. I head to our table with Lana, Stella, Brenda, Clay and the rest of the team.

"Is it true that Arielle is here?" Brenda asked as soon as I sit on the chair.

"Where is she?" Drake asked,

"Yes! She's here but I think she can't get mingling around because of some space she needed and…"

"Space?" Russel interrupt and asked curiously, "What happened to her?" He asked.

"I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, Arielle was in coma for five weeks and just few days ago when woken up so the advice of the doctor is maybe she might be confused and still a lot of medication needed to assure her full recovery." I explained.

"So! That's the reason why she looked so innocent and different when I saw her." Lana said.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe that happened to her!" Clarisse said seemed stunned.

"Yea! All along we thought she's fine but for the real reason she's just suffered too much." Stella added.

"Let's not all think about how pity she looks like. Let's do a mindset instead that will help her recover." I said.

"Exactly! How about an outing again at Redwoods?" Clarisse said with excitement, "Just saying." She added.

"That would be a great help!" Brenda responded and smile.

"That's a great idea, Clarisse. I'll think of that." I simply answered.

They all had that wonderful idea that might help Arielle recover fast but I still need any word from Andrea and Albert or Doctor Smith to have a consent from the idea.
