We stop at, I believe, Philip’s hideout in an office building. It has the brick structure on the outside with the business look. He made sure I was stuck in the back of the van gagged and my hands tied up. I feel so scared and hopeless. Like how am I going to escape?
“Take her to the fifth floor.” Philip ordered to one of his men.
The man grabs my right arm, which is handcuffed to my other hand… and I have to say: handcuffs hurt.
“C’mon, girl!” The man with dark-no he doesn’t have any hair. He’s bald. He tightens my arm and tugs me inside the building. We get inside the first floor, which has no staff or anyone at the counter for help. Who would help me anyway? If there were staff then they probably wouldn’t see my despair and help the bad guys take me hostage.
I’m in a wedding dress for crying out loud! I can barely look walk without my shoes touching my long, silky strapless dress. The bad-bald guy pulls me inside the elevator and pushes the 5th floor button.
I see the key on his belt and the only thing that comes to mind is to…kick where the sun don’t shine. “Very personal.” I tell him while he falls to the ground in pain. I manage to press the 3rd button and the elevator doors opens right away. I run like I’ve never run before. I always say that then I always get caught.
Run. Run. Get out of here, watch where you’re going. Don’t trip. Easier said then done when you’re wearing a long dress.
I see an exit sign. And run down the stairs. Then I notice on the second floor door, two men running down the hall towards me. I look around and realize that the window over the roof is my only hope. I take a fire extinguisher from the wall, break the glass and jump out on top of the roof.
"Get her!" A man shouts. No you're not.
I run to the fire exit and stop to look down. Mistake. I climb down the ladder not looking down. When I manage to touch the sidewalk, I run like crazy.

"We need to find Christine!" Erik said when Nadir got to the church.
"Get your wound fixed and I'll call the police." His friend said calmly.
"The police is the reason she got kidnapped!" Erik snapped. His newly-wed wife was kidnapped by a bunch of thugs and he couldn't protect her from them. What kind of husband was he? "Just get me my rifle and ammo. I need to take care of business before something else happens in the future."
"Erik. Listen." Nadir started to speak, "I love Christine like a father would love his daughter, but you have to let the law take care of this." Erik didn't really ponder on his friend's advice.
"Christine is my wife. And I need to her to know I will protect her." Erik told Nadir.
Nadir sighed. The only thing he could do was stay by his friend's side.
