Naruto sat on his bed, he really didn't feel like taking the graduation test. He only laid back down on his freshly made bed. He felt Kurama lie against his chest. He wondered why even after he mastered the power of the Kitsune that Kurama still stuck around, it had been more than seven years, he could grown full size if he wanted too, but he continued to stay with Naruto.

"You are soothing. In the lands there is nothing but hate, until times change, I'll be with an aura that can calm me down." Kurama said and Naruto hummed.

"You can read my thoughts?" Naruto asked and Kurama shrugged.

"Sometimes, however are you going to date the Nara? You both have been growing close." Naruto snorted while looking at his ceiling, the bland white ceiling he hated it. He wanted to change it

"No." Naruto said but he didn't mean it, he liked Shikamaru, more than he thought he would. However he doesn't like when Shikamaru is right so he was going to wait to admit his feelings.

"So cruel, why deny the change to be happy?" Kurama said and Naruto exhaled.

"It will be temporary. My clan hates me, I still haven't even shown signs of getting my Sharigan. It just sucks right now." Naruto spoke and Kurama nodded.

"You should get dressed, Sasuke is probably waiting on you." Naruto only rolled his eyes before getting up and getting dressed. He dressed in a dark red shirt, and black shorts, allowing his onyx hair to breathe he left it down.

When he walked down the stairs, he was met with Sasuke. Sasuke only ruffled his hair and brought him into a hug. Sasuke was now standing at 5'8 while Naruto stood at 5'5. Naruto also thought he wouldn't grow anymore.

"You look upset, you can talk to me you know." Naruto chuckled.

"You are my twin, you already know what I'm thinking." Sasuke hummed.

"True, but sometimes it's better to just talk it out." Naruto shook his head, and there was a voice.

"Ah, this is why you won't date me. You like your twin." Naruto rolled his eyes, and Sasuke laughed.

"Why are you here, Shikamaru?" Sasuke said letting Naruto go, but Naruto just leaned his head on Sasuke's arm.

"Father came to speak to Fu-San and I decided to come see my wife." Naruto chuckled.

"Going so far as to call me your wife, oh Shikamaru I pity you." Naruto said and Shikamaru smiled.

"A man can hope." Shikamaru shot to 5'7 in height, only two inches taller than Naruto. Naruto only walked downstairs passed Shikamaru, but Shikamaru quickly followed. Naruto grabbed a water from the fridge, and kissed his mother on the cheek.

"Good luck you three, do you not want breakfast?" Mikoto asked her sons, while Naruto shook his head.

"Not in the mood to eat, Sasuke and Shikamaru can eat if they want." Naruto said and Shikamaru shook his head.

"I'm fine, thank you however." Sasuke only sighed.

"No thanks mother, see you later." Sasuke said following his twin and Shikamaru out of the house, Shikaku looked to the Uchiha parents and frowned.

"Naruto is upset?" Fugaku only nodded while Mikoto cleaned up the dishes.

The entire way to class Shikamaru had been complimenting Naruto on anything that the shorter twin did. He could breathe and Shikamaru would say it was a beautiful breath. Naruto looked to the academy and looked to Shikamaru.

"You better try your best, I don't give a damn if our teams are already set." Naruto said sternly and Shikamaru chuckled.

"Sure thing, can I have a date afterwards?" Naruto folded his arms and looked to the classroom.

"That's going to be a hard no." Sasuke said watching his brother before his brother spoke.

"Maybe." Shikamaru and Sasuke's eyes widened, and Naruto continued to walk, Sasuke chuckled. His brother was finally admitting his feelings.

"Looks like you have to try, you lazy Nara." Sasuke said, and Shikamaru sighed. He chuckled and followed them in to the class. The children were wild, all were excited to pass and become ninjas anyways, Shikamaru sat in his seat and leaned back. When he leaned back he could sense Matsu peeking his head out from his shirt.

Sasuke took one breathe and he was immediately surrounded by his many fan girls, Shikamaru only watched in interest as the girls tried to make themselves available to Sasuke, to try and ask what he liked, Kurama watched as Naruto closed his eyes.

Sasuke only spoke calmly.

"You mind leaving me alone?" Sasuke asked, and Sakura ended up grabbing Sasuke's free arm, yanking him up. Naruto's eyes shot open as he saw the blonde bimbo grab his other arm.

"Are we serious right now?" Naruto asked Shikamaru and Shikamaru nodded. Naruto tied his hair up and walked to the group.

"LET MY BROTHER GO NOW, ARE YALL INSANE?" Naruto screamed over the girls, the girls stopped and looked at Naruto.

"My brother isn't a piece of fucking meat! You can't fucking claim him to make your pathetic lives fucking better. If you fucking pariahs place your hands on him again i will cut you all down." Naruto said calmly.

"Tch, you wouldn't." The blonde haired spoke and Naruto drew a katana and placed it at her throat.

"I already don't like you, cause you called Shikamaru a lazy piece of shit, and while he may be one, he's important to me. So make my day, Yamanaka." Naruto said and everybody let go of Sasuke.

"Are you okay Sasuke?" Naruto asked and Sasuke nodded. Fixing his clothes.

"You can seal that sword away now." Sasuke said calming his brother down. Sasuke chuckled, ruffling Naruto's hair. Naruto calmed and sat down next to Shikamaru. Shikamaru placed a hand on Naruto's head.

"You okay? Naruto." Naruto nodded and stood back up.

"Also since we are on the topic of cutting people down, anybody that insults Shikamaru in front of me will also be cut down!" Naruto said and the class sat there.

"Does everybody understand?" Heads nodded vigorously and Naruto sat back down. Shikamaru and Sasuke chuckled while Iruka finally walked in and started the test.

Shikamaru completed the test as if his life depended on it. Yet it did, he would finally get a date with Naruto, if he tried his best and he had been trying everyday for two years. Once the written test was done, and they did their ninjustu. Naruto only folded his arms, yawning.

"Your mood is changing, are you controlling your chakra?" Kurama asked Naruto and Naruto shook his head no.

The test was done and Naruto placed his head on Shikamaru's shoulder, sleeping contently Shikamaru was seeing stars, while Iruka listed their teams, they knew who their teammates were, but not their Sensei.

"Team seven; Sakura Haruno. Kiba Inuzuka and Ino Yamanaka, Menma Namikaze Sensei Kakashi Hatake

Team eight; Shino Aburame, Choji Akimichi and Hinata Hyuga. Sensei Kurenai Yuhi.

Team Ten; Naruto Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha ans Shikamaru Nara. Sensei Asuma Sarutobi."

Naruto slept his life away as the classroom erupted in talking about their teams.
