"You are spending the night at Shikamaru's?" Sasuke asked his brother.

"Yes." Naruto said packing his bag. Yes they have been training with Asuma for a month, and tomorrow they were taking a serious of D-rank missions. Naruto thought it was a good as time as any to cook for Shikamaru, and his father.

"You are more than welcome to come with me, Kami knows you can't be alone without Itachi." Sasuke nodded and went to pack a bag. Naruto finished packing a bag and went to Sasuke's room watching as his room was an absolute mess. Naruto wondered how somebody so detail oriented could live like this.

Sasuke grabbed a bag and saw Mikoto and Fugaku talking downstairs. Naruto went to speak.

"We are spending the night as Shikamaru's. We'll be home tomorrow for dinner." Naruto said and Fugaku looked at Naruto.

"You seem to be enraptured with the Nara, is there something you want to tell us?" Naruto tilted his head, Kurama right on his tail as Fugo perched himself on Sasuke's shoulder.

"I like Shikamaru, you both want to here that somebody other than Sasuke and Itachi has my attention?" Naruto said and Mikoto smiled.

"No baby, we want to know if you are gay, like Itachi." Naruto looked his body up and down, tilting his head when Sasuke chuckled lowly. You could clearly tell that Naruto and Itachi were gay.

"Yes, now Goodnight." Naruto said walking passed his mother and Fugaku. Sasuke waved and followed after his brother. Fugaku chuckled and stood.

"I owe Shikaku 30 bucks. Damn."

Naruto and Sasuke knocked on the Nara clan door, a few times, it was only about 4pm, not even time for dinner or close yet it was quiet. He wasn't sure if Shikamaru was sleeping or what, but Naruto knocked one final time and the door swung open.

"Father isn't even here, go away." Naruto and Sasuke stood as they looked at Shikamaru. Shikamaru stood in only boxers, that left very little to the imagination.

"Such lewd thoughts, Naruto."

Naruto didn't respond to Kurama, he just openly looked at Shikamaru toned body, he had to be as built as his brother, but it wasn't over bearing with muscles like Sasuke. Sasuke only chuckled watching as Shikamaru didn't even open his eyes.

"It's the twins you lazy asshole." Shikamaru eyes shot open, Naruto didn't portray anything on his face, so he only tilted his head.

"Can we come in?" Naruto asked, watching as Shikamaru quickly scrambled from the door to let the twins in. Sasuke and Naruto took their shoes off at the door, and Shikamaru blushed deeply, trying to hide what he put on display.

"Why are you both here?" Naruto placed his bag on the floor near a closet.

"Isn't it obvious?" Sasuke said and Naruto gave a chuckle.

"We obviously came to seduce you." Naruto watched as Shikamaru's cheeks heated up, Sasuke couldn't handle it and started laughing loudly. Naruto gave a very humorous laugh before wiping the tears falling from his eyes.

"We came to spend the night, you should really put clothes on before you answer the door next time." Naruto said and Shikamaru huffed.

"You twins will be the death of me." Naruto and Sasuke sat on the couch and turned on the TV. Kurama, Matsu and Fugo all laid on pillow set on the floor for them.

Shikamaru came back down in shorts and a shirt with a blanket, placing his head in Naruto's lap, he turned to face the Tv but snuggled under the blankets. Naruto just took his hands to Shikamaru's hair before they all agreed to watch a animated comedy.

Shikamaru was in heaven. He wasn't even paying attention to the TV, him being swayed back to sleep by Naruto's soft hands and soft breathing. Naruto looked to the window and saw that the sun was setting.

"You both should wash up, I'm going to start dinner." Naruto said and Sasuke nodded, but Shikamaru groaned.

"So comfortable." Naruto chuckled lowly before speaking.

"I'll give you another date." Shikamaru turned his head to look Naruto in his eyes.

"I'll pay this time, and I don't want to see you cry again." Naruto smiled warmly, watching Shikamaru's cheeks dusted pink.

"Okay, Shikamaru." Shikamaru nodded and stood up, showing Sasuke were the guest bedroom his so he could shower. While Naruto headed to the kitchen. He didn't see much things to make dinner from so he got a little creative.

He started cooking some white rice, and he found chicken breast, Onions, Tomatoes, celery and mushrooms. He saw a bottle a soy sauce, and he started cooking it.

He heard the door open, right when he finally finished cooking and setting the table, he saw Shikaku walk in the kitchen and Naruto spoke.

"Welcome home, would you like dinner first or a shower?" Naruto said and Shikaku was surprised Naruto stood in his kitchen.

"Dinner is fine, where's my son?" Naruto pointed to the staircase as Shikamaru walked down with a yawn, Sasuke followed.

"Thanks for having us." Sasuke bowed and Shikaku tilted his head.

"They came to spend a night, it's fine right?" Shikamaru said sitting down.

"That's fine but where are they going to sleep? We only have one guest room." Shikaku said sitting next to Sasuke while Naruto sat next to Shikamaru but across from Shikaku.

"Me and Shikamaru will room, if he doesn't mind." Naruto said and Shikamaru sighed before eating.

"I don't mind." Naruto nodded and looked to Shikaku.

"So how was work?" Naruto asked as Shikamaru placed a hand on Naruto's knee, Naruto didn't flinch as he listened to Shikaku talk about the missions and working for the Hokage.

"Sounds like the blonde haired bastard is making your life hard." Sasuke said as Naruto placed his hand on top of Shikamaru's loving the contact. Wanting to feel more of it.

"It's a troublesome job, but nobody else could work it." Shikamaru said and Shikaku gave a chuckle.

"Namikaze's and Nara's have always been best friends, I'm surprised you aren't close to Menma." Shikamaru looked offended.

"I already met my Namikaze, and I plan on marrying him." Shikamaru said and Naruto rolled his eyes before looking to Shikaku.

"Do you want seconds?" Shikaku chuckled and stood.

"No, I'll clean up. You did cook this amazing meal after all." Sasuke stood. "I'll help." He said while winking at Shikamaru.

"I'll grab a futon and you'll take a shower." Naruto nodded as they both stood, Naruto went to grab his bag while Shikamaru walked upstairs. Naruto showered and walked out in a robe, while Shikamaru set a futon.

"Sleep in the bed, I'll take the futon." Naruto sat on the bed, watching as Shikamaru got under the covers, Naruto only folded his arms.

"Get in the bed." Naruto said and Shikamaru looked to Naruto.

"I'm fine down here, you should sleep." Naruto only tied up his hair and slid into the futon with Shikamaru.

"I want you to hold me, so we can sleep on the uncomfortable Futon, or we can go on that comfortable bed." Naruto said and Shikamaru sighed. He stood and walked to his bed and slid in. Naruto did the same and laid his head on Shikamaru's chest while Shikamaru wrapped his arms around him.

"Don't make me fall deeper for you if you aren't going to return my feelings." Shikamaru said lowly, but Naruto heard it. Naruto lifted his head and locked eyes with Shikamaru.

"Shikamaru, I'm falling for you." Naruto whispered as he leaned in and kissed Shikamaru lightly, before placing a hand on the older boys cheek.

"I'm not leading you on, let's date." Naruto said and Shikamaru felt so happy finally hearing those words.

"I'd love too, I'll be your boyfriend." Naruto smiled and leaned into the crook of Shikamaru's neck, they both drifted to sleep, happily and contently.
