Chapter 25

"Hey, hey, hey, heyyyy...", V approached Dragon, Shawny and God, who were busily chatting, with a bottle of green fairy and its mixing appliances.

"Yo, V!", Dragon greeted him.

"Did you take from the inventory again?", God asked.

V grinned, "Yeah, I did..."

"I could go bankrupt in any minute", God sighed desperately.

"Don't worry, I'll pay okayyyy..."

"Drinking is not good for health", Shawny said shortly.

V snorted, "You're no fun..."

Dragon chuckled, "I was amazed that now you have time for us? I thought you will always be busy with your Tay Tawan.."

V winked, "What can I say... we broke up!"

Dragon widened his eyes in surprise meanwhile Shawny turned his gaze towards V now without saying anything. God was busy with his drink, but I know he was actually listening.

"Broke up?", Dragon asked in confusion, "Were you in a relationship? Jesus, V. What changes you?"

V chuckled, "No, we're not. What should I say then? We separated? It would have the same meaning, wouldn't it?"

"I got your point, I got your point! I'm not stupid", Dragon grunted.

"Are you okay?", God asked V, concerned.

"Why shouldn't I? The night is still young. I just need to look for a new one-night-stand partner. Easy peasy..."

"That's the V I know!", Dragon high-fived him with a big grin on his face.

"Fuck! Where's the sugar cube? I need to get some before we can mix this!", V continued as he stood up from his seat, "I'll be back soon"

"I'll go with you. I need to go to the toilet", Dragon followed him before God and Shawny could say anything.

God took a glance at Shawny. Shawny looked back at him with a questioning look on his face.

"I think you need to pay more attention to V", God warned him, "He came here three days in a row already and almost drained my inventory. He always got home drunk. I don't think he's alright..."

Shawny nodded, "I'll check with him once in a while. Thanks for the reminder"

"By the way, did you hear anything about Jane?"

Shawny shook his head, "I don't think so. I just knew that she has enrolled in our school as a first-year student. I will try to hack her database or any information about her."

God nodded understand, "I'll also ask someone to do a background check on her. You just be careful."

"I will", Shawny nodded, "Don't worry."

Jaylerr knocked on Jane's door slowly for a few moments before he finally decided to step in because he didn't hear any answers. He immediately dropped the tray he was carrying in his hand when he saw the terrible sight before his eyes. There, Jane sat on a chair with her legs folded against her chest. Her body trembled and her face was so pale like a ghost. The look in her reddened eyes showed a deep hatred. Her hand gripped the knife so tightly that her fingernails pierced her skin until it shed blood. She rocked her body back and forth unconsciously.

Quickly, Jaylerr ran toward Jane, trying to calm her down while trying to grab the knife she was holding on.

"Jane... Jane...", Jaylerr tried to calm Jane down.
