Chapter 56

Mew Davis walked toward the door lazily when he heard someone ring the bell. He saw Nadech was standing outside his door, waiting for him to open it. He opened the door hesitantly.

"Mew...", Nadech greeted him in a smile.

Mew looked at Nadech as he brought something on his hand. "Did my mother send you here?"

"I called you Mew, remember? Today is my off day...", he smiled as he raised the bag he brought on his hand. "I believe you haven't eaten anything since yesterday."

"I'm not in the mood for eating. You may just go home now..."

"There is something I need to talk to you about...", Nadech held the door with his hand so that Mew Davis will not be able to close it.

"I have nothing to talk about..."

"Mew...", Nadech kept holding the door, "Your mother did not know about Art's parents' death before you called her. It was not her doing..."

"Why did you lie? Why did you protect her this far? She admitted that she did it!"

"Mew Davis...", he answered calmly and handed him a small envelope, "You know I never lied to you."

Mew hesitantly opened the envelope handed by Nadech. Inside, he found a lot of surveillance cameras' pictures. He widened his eyes in shock as he saw the pictures one by one. Mew turned his gaze towards Nadech in confusion...

Nadech nodded, "I didn't lie to you. As I told you, it was not your mother's doing. She lied to you. She had no idea what had happened until you called her and until I provided these pictures to her."

Jane opened her email on her phone and saw a lot of pictures of Mew and Gulf sent by someone. Yes, someone who she hired to follow Mew and Gulf every day so that she knew what was happening between the two of them.

Jane saw the pictures one by one. Now she was definitely sure that Gulf Kanawut meant something to Mew Davis. The more she saw their pictures, the more she gritted her teeth. Mew Davis is a scumbag. How could he still smile after what he has done to both her sister and Art? How could he still be happy with Gulf after he killed both of them? She would never ever let that happened. Mew Davis needs to know how does it feel to lose someone he loves so much and for this, she will need to do something to Gulf...

"Jane..."

Jane turned her back to see Baifern was waving at her. She waved back at her as she smiled.

"Hey, Baifern..."

"What are you doing here. Let's go to class or else we'll be late.."

"Sure...", Jane put her mobile phone back inside her bag and followed Baifern. "By the way, Fern. Gulf is your brother, yeah?"

Baifern nodded, "Yes. Why?"

"I was finishing my articles about the soccer club, however, there are some things I need to clarify with him first. Do you think he would be practicing today?"

Baifern gave it a thought for a moment and nodded, "I think so. I think today is his schedule to practice. He usually practices from Monday to Thursday and rested on the weekend..."

"Is that so? So tomorrow he will not have any practice then?"

"I don't think so. Do you want me to confirm with him? I can help you with that..."

"No...", Jane hurriedly shook her head and grinned, "It's okay. I will ask him myself. Thanks a lot..."

"Let's go... the teacher is coming..."
