P.S: to avoid any confusion while reading this chapter after some rendezvous in Chapter 52 😈😈, please try to re-read Chapter 50 and 51 since starting from this chapter, we are going back to the heavy stuff (especially on the flashback. Mew Davis' mobile phone kept ringing like crazy. He lazily opened his eyes to see what time it is. He gasped in shock as it was already almost 12 o'clock in the afternoon. He grumbled as he skipped his morning class again.

"Yeah...", he answered the call without bothering to look who was calling. He heard sobs. It was Art. "Art?", he said again.

"P'Mew... I-... I'm in the hospital. I got called and found out that my parents collided in a car crash. They passed away on the spot. Please... please don't tell me it was your mother's doing?", Art stuttered as he asked Mew between his sobs.

Suddenly something hit Mew hard, what did he just say? Traffic accident? His mother's doing? Was it? But even if it was, how could Art know about this? Did he meet his mother previously? Did his mother say something to him? Was this the reason why Art acted strange that night when he went to wait for him downstairs, soaked wet in rain?

"Calm down, Art... I don't get you... what car accident? What about my mother?"

"I never thought I would ever say this to you but your mother threatened me to leave you or else I will regret it. I was too naive to think that as long as we are together, we are strong enough to face everything together. But... please tell me this was not your mother doing? Please, P'Mew..."

It was like... Mew was struck by lightning. Did his mother really do that to Art as a warning? By killing his parents? Was this the price Art needed to pay to be together with him?

"P'Mew...", Art sobbed.

"Stay there, Art. Don't do anything until I'm there. Wait for me..."

Mew hung up and immediately called his mother. He grabbed his jacket and the car key then rushed outside his condo as he waited impatiently until she answered his call...

"Mother!", Mew said shortly before his mother able to say hello.

"Son, I was surprised to receive your call..."

"Why, mother? Why did you need to go to this extent to separate me and Art? Why did you kill Art's parents?"

It was 12.30 in the afternoon and God has just finished his class. He looked at his watch as he remembered he had promised Dragon, Shawny, and V to have lunch together in the canteen. Mew called this morning that he will not be on the campus since he did not feel really well, but hey, we should know why, right?

God was walking in the school hallway when his mobile phone rang. He took it out of his pocket and saw Bas' name on the screen.

"Yeah, Bas...", he answered swiftly.

"I paid him $10,000"

"You what!", God gasped in shock. "Do you want me to go bankrupt!?"

"I warned you, he was pricey! You told me to pay him...", Bas scoffed. "Don't blame me..."
