I'm so sorry that I was just able to post the chapter now since today I was so fucking busy, I have no time even for myself to rest. 😲😲😲. So here we go... the last rendezvous for Mew and Gulf before the start of their long journey.

Mew approached Gulf, who was sitting on the couch, as he wiped his wet hair with a towel. He slammed his still slightly wet body beside Gulf and snatched the beer on his hand. Gulf glanced annoyingly at Mew.

"Can't you grab your own beer in the fridge?"

"Yours is nearer...", Mew chuckled.

Gulf sighed, "I started to regret my decision. What will happen to us ahead?"

"Easy... eat, sleep, watch TV, have sex..."

"Mew Davis!", Gulf yelled irritatedly.

"My name is Mew Suppasit now, remember?", Mew teased him.

"I'm serious...", Gulf turned his gaze towards Mew, "Shouldn't we look for work or something?"

"You still have that 2 million dollars cheque with you right?", Mew laughed.

"Oh, Mew...", Gulf sighed desperately. "Even if we didn't die there, we will die here ..."

"Take it easy!", Mew smiled as he ruffled Gulf's hair, "I will find some work to do as what we have planned before. Soon, we could call this place home..."

Gulf sighed as he turned his gaze towards Mew and nodded. They stared for a moment before Gulf continued...

"Mew..."

"Huh?"

"Mrs. Davis already knew about everything, so why did you still come here? I mean like... she will not do anything to oppose us nor she will do anything to me and my family. Then why did you still leave? Leaving everything behind, your family, friends, brothers, your identity..."

"Didn't you do the same?"

"Mew... you're a Davis, and I'm a no one... besides... we've been through ups and downs so far, how am I supposed to leave you? Though somehow, I often think like... what if I have a second chance, would I still the same path..."

"Then?"

"It's hard... because it's like I have to choose between you and my family..."

"Then if you have a second chance, you will change your mind then?"

"Hmmm... without me, my family will survive still. Baifern can take my place to take care of them. But you...", Gulf snorted, "How could you live without me?"

Mew rolled his eyes, "Are you kidding me? I will just need to snap my fingers and people will fight over me!"

Gulf chuckled, "You can only attract the attention of psychos!"

"Including you?", Mew laughed.

Gulf wiped his face desperately. "I will never win to argue with you..."
